a girl and her polarbeardog [or Korra finds her oldest friend, Naga]

WHO: Korra and Naga and whoever comes their way [so open to all]
WHERE: southwest of Solus' temple, on the far side of the gorge
WHEN: after talking with Knock Out
WHAT: Korra tries looking for Breakdown, ends up finding Naga instead!
WARNINGS: FLUFF AND SAPPY/HEARTWARMING REUNION AND GUSHING.  If Korra perceives any threat against Naga after just finding her, SHE WILL FREAK OUT.  Naga will similarly freak out against anyone who may threaten her human.  Picture and information on Korra's polarbeardog mount and companion here at http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Naga.

One, Korra actually like exploring, probably because she spent so much of her life in one place.  Two, she did want to help Knock Out find his partner.  But the joy of exploration was being overcome by the growing lack of any sign of Breakdown.

Where are you?

And it was getting late.  She'd be spending another night in the gorge area.  Korra made a meager camp site, just bending up a tent of Earth and stuffing her supplies and herself inside, then settled down to sleep.

Korra woke at the sound of scraping against her rock tent.  There was whining outside too, a...familiar whining.  Followed by a familiar bark.

Holy--

The young Avatar immediately bent the earth away, and there she was--Naga. The polarbeardog's fur was dirty and tangled and she looked a little worse-for-wear appearance wise, but the large beast tenderly lapped at Korra's face, and the girl shrieked in delight, grabbing at Naga and hugging her head close, still one of the easier parts of the large polarbeardog to embrace.

"You found me, girl!"

How--well, she'd been dropped here, along with so many others.  The same must've happened to Naga.  And--

"Woah, you too, huh?"  Korra wondered aloud, as she saw the mark of Megatronus Prime on the polarbeardog too.

Korra shook her head, hugging Naga tighter and welcoming her polarbeardog kisses.  "I am so, so sorry I left you alone, girl.  But thank you for finding me."

As long as Naga was here, Korra knew everything would be fine, no matter what happened.

"Come on, let's get you cleaned up," Korra said, beaming, beginning to bend the dirt and grit off Naga--and then Korra remembered bending the grit off Knock Out when she first arrived here.  And Breakdown.  Now she felt a stab of guilt over being so overwhelmed with joy while Breakdown was still missing.  But then Naga playfully pulled at her hair, and Korra laughed, thoughts of tending to and caring for her polarbeardog pushing everyhting else out.

So Korra bent the dirt off Naga and bent water over her, washing her out.  Korra giggled once Naga shook the water off as she dried herself off, splashing Korra.  Korra carefully bent all the water back into her bottle, she needed as much bendables as possible in this strange world.

Korra reviewed her current supplies again, and frowned; nope, no food for Naga had appeared as miraculously as she.  All Korra had was fruits and veggies, something Naga wouldn't care for, predator that she was.  They'd have to find some real meat.  Korra had to make sure Naga was fed.

"All right, girl, let's find you some grub--and get a good ride in, too!"  Smiling so hard it hurt in a very good way, Korra carefully climbed up into Naga's saddle, but she seemed fine.  This apparently hadn't changed, at least.  She took the reigns, and urged Naga forward.

The polarbeardog's paws began to pound the ground.  "Go, go, go Naga!"  They went faster.

They were off.

Blurr was running around to blow off some steam when he noticed...something. It didn't move as fast as him but it moves quickly and it was white. Strange. Once it got closer he was able to tell that it was in fact not an it but 'two' someone. And he recognized one of them.

"Korra?"

Knock Out was, of course, out searching for his missing partner-- or at this point, honestly, even the least sign of his missing partner. He hadn't come across anything new, just the tracks that he'd followed when he'd first woken up alone in this waste. He'd followed that single familiar set of tire tracks through the dust then, and he followed it again now, but it still dead-ended in a wind-scoured table of empty rock. No dust meant no tracks meant no trail.

Breakdown was just as missing as ever.

In his vehicle mode, he cruised, back and forth in ever-widening quadrants, casting out with all his sensors and scanners and straining for any sign of his partner. There was nothing, nothing--

Something.

An organic signature. Warily he approached it, and then just wearily when he recognized at least part of the massive organic beast as Korra. "Interesting ride," he called, still in his own alt form.
