WHERE: The clinic at Solus's temple, later the washracks.
WHEN:  A bit after they get rescued and dragged to the medbay
WHAT: The boys waking up in the clinic in need of some rest and a proper bath.
WARNINGS: Team Losers and friendship shenanigans.


[Knock Out was really glad that a year ago he had the wits to set a Quarantine Room in the medbay but he never imagined he'll had to use it. From behind the glass, he studied the three current occupants of the room, each one in one of the berth and all of them still passed out. Blurr's paintjob was even back to its vivid blue.

One of the medi-drones approached the medic and handled him a data pad that he studied with a cocky smile on his lips. As expected, his decontamination procedure was over and a total success. The risk of the trio potentially contaminating the medical personnel and the environment was gone but Knock Out kept them in there just to check their reactions when they woke up. Those were always interesting.]

I guess so. Nobody else has really touched them before, so I guess I just don't think about it. I kind of like them, though. I've had a lot of different frames over the years, and this is the only part I haven't really changed.

Yes I...ah, I keep forgetting that mechs with thickest frames than me can't feel it the way I do. Never mind then.

Why so many frame changes? [Blurr leaned forward. He raised his hand and carefully ran the palm up the right side of Drift's helmet.] I think those are really nice.

I had different reasons for each one, but I think deep down, it was mostly about changing my image. I hadn't been able to take care of my first frame. I was homeless, I didn't have any way to maintain it, or any desire to. When I joined the Decepticons, I had it upgraded with thicker armor. I had intimidation in mind when it came down to the basic design, and I had the bad attitude to back it up. When I left the Decepticons, the Circle of Light gave me a completely different frame. A new direction in life needed a new look. It was based on their designs, just look at Wing and you'll see kind of what I mean. When I went to Earth, I needed an alt mode that would fit in with the location, so that was another change. And now I have this one. I'd thought it was shaped kind of funny at first, but apparently, people find it aesthetically pleasing, so. Guess I'll stick with it.

You walked a long path but they say the key to living is changing. Now that you mention it, I did notice some similarities with Wing's frame but I didn't know those were made on purpose. It doesn't matter if others things is aesthetically pleasing, Do you like it? I mean, are you comfortable in your own skin now? [There was a touch of worry in his voice. He really wanted to know if drift was okay.

And then Blurr laughed out loud at the end.]

I'm pretty fond of this frame, honestly. My last one restricted movement too much, kind of a pain since I fight with swords now.

Once they get to the washracks they will find him happily dozing off in one of the giant warm pools. Only his head and spike are visible so he's not impossible to spot]
