Hangin' out [open]
Who: Wing and anyone who wants to drop by (but especially aimed at those he promised to call and meet up with later)
Where: The Hub's bar and likely various other places around the city, feel free to say where you want to meet him.
When: All week.
What: Meeting up with anyone who wants to come have a drink with the knight.
Warnings: Drinking and anything others might bring.
Over the next week, Wing would be spending a lot of time in the bar, or meeting people in various places. Some he promised to contact later the day he arrived, he would be calling each of them over the next few days, looking forward to meeting up with them and getting to know them.
Whether meeting in the bar, or coming across someone in the city, Wing was always one to greet the other with a grin. Hello, Haven, come meet this derpy hippie knight.

Today had started off like any other. Drift drove around for a while avoiding people, trying to get his thoughts in order. Probably not the best way to spend one's free time, but he'd found himself with a ridiculous overabundance of it lately. He wasn't so sure that he liked it. When it had gotten around to the 'wasting a few hours at the bar' part of his new daily routine, he was a little surprised to find Wing already there. Not in a bad way, of course, but part of him was still coming to terms with the fact that Wing was even around at all. Even though they lived together and Drift now saw him on a daily basis. One of the many stupid little issues Drift was still working out. Anyway.
"Honestly, I think the bar is probably one of the last places I expected to run into you." Drift put on his best 'life is good everything is zen' face and slid into a seat next to Wing. "Waiting on someone?"

Wing has left his roommate to his thoughts, giving Drift a chance to work through them himself. This wasn't like when they first met, this wasn't about Drift needing a good aft kicking to make him think, he was clearly thinking...too much if Wing had to guess.
He smiled when his roommate stepped into the bar and slid into the seat beside him. "Not anymore." He hadn't actually been waiting for Drift, but he couldn't help but imply that he knew Drift would arrive.
no subject
"You weren't expecting me, were you?" Because if Wing had been then it meant that he was paying closer attention to Drift than he realized. That may or may not have been a good thing. Drift was undecided.
no subject
He couldn't help that he was a bit worried for his roommate. This wasn't the Drift he was used to, it was almost painful to see him like this. "You need to talk about it?"
no subject
Well, it was half true, at least. He made a general sweeping motion with his arm, as if that was supposed to help explain what all this was.
"You have to admit, it's kind of a lot to take in."

He really needs to come here more often.
Plus, Wing was persistant. He might as well. He's got his Forge Hammer hooked into his back as he enters the bar. He's trailed, not too long after, by an Acolyte. Darn guy just won't let him go anywhere with out him. Once he's inside he waves the drone off, and it gives him space so he can actually relax.
no subject
He noted the Acolyte, but didn't comment. "Thank you for coming," he said, offering a smile and a hand for a shake.
no subject
But still, the fact he came said something. He could've easily just gone hunting in the junk pile and pretend the invite didn't happen. But he wanted to come, wanted to relax, and get toknow Wing moe. Specially since the guy jumped at joining the crew.
"Thanks for inviting me." He offers a small smile in return. He takes the hand, giving it a firm shake. "Good to meet the newest crew member."
no subject
"Glad to be on the crew. Join me for a drink? Or perhaps a walk?" He could tell Bulkhead just needed some time out, but wasn't sure if sitting in a bar, or getting some fresh air would be better for the mech. Really, he was up for either.

Currently she was in the upper levels that had most of the seating that were human size drinking, of all things, tea, when she saw Wing walk by.
"Hello Wing."

She nods to him and gives a slight smile as she comes up to the railing to greet him. "I am doing well. Are you finding your way around Haven alright?"

"Together? I'm somehow not surprised." But that was fast, he got to admit it. "There's still a lot of things to build or dicover, we are working on that."

lol Up? I'm not so sure Wing is taller than him. Wing's rather short as bots go. XD
Sorry, force of habit! Blurr is not much taller than Cliffjumper, TFA bots are shorties
This is true. I just couldn't help but note that he was no taller then Drift, and Drift is short XD
That's good to know then, thank you!

Nope, it might jump to Wing's face for more attention X3
Yup. How dare you take that kitten off of Wing's head, Blurr. XD
He only wanted to help!
Kitty says Blurr can help by getting him back into Wing's head. *nod*
No kitty no, it's too hight and pointy there. What if you fall?
Kitty can rule the world from up here.
All hair our new Kitty lord

And so he was here. Sitting at the bar, staring into his half-finished drink as if it would somehow give him the answers he sought. And very much not sulking, thank you. No matter how much it seemed that that was exactly what he was doing.

He looked up at the other mech. The stranger was obviously a flier of some sort, but of a different style than Jadewing had ever seen. Not that that was much of a surprise around here in this place of overlapping universes.
"Mmm...", Jadewing finally said, a noncommittal noise of acknowledgement. "Not lost. Just having a drink, and doing some thinking. Those two things seem to go well together."
Jadewing wasn't the type to drink with the specific coal of getting overcharged outside a party. But the highgrade, in moderation, was bracing, and the inhibitions-dulling effects made it harder for him to deceive himself. Not that he didn't still unconsciously try to do so anyway; the highgrade just made it more difficult.
no subject
He wanted to ask the Seeker what was wrong, what had him so worried or upset, so deep in thought and looking so lost, but that could wait. Besides, he would likely be more open to accepting friendly help if he knew Wing's name. And there were better ways to ask questions than outright prying like that.
no subject
"'Wing'?", he asked. "That's it? Just 'Wing'?" And he'd thought his name was uncreative.
"Mine's Jadewing," he said. "Not much better, I know. But it was the best I could come up with."
