Knock Out can’t say that he was all that surprised with Sentinel’s reaction after the whole debacle with the crystals.

He wanted to punch himself for some of the things he said or thought, but hell be dammed if he was going to the mech that. He knocked on the Prime’s door and waited.

NOOOT EVEN GONNA TOUCH THAT. Once again, his expression betrays how he actually feels about what Knock Out is saying, despite trying to hide it.

"It's the principle. It wouldn't have happened otherwise."

No, he doesn't he hates clutter. "I'm not lying to myself. There's no point denying what happened but like I said, the fact we were essentially drugged is kind of. Really messed up?"

"No, it would have taken us another buffing session and perhaps some more weeks but I don't think the situation happening at some point was all that impossible. Specially considering the way you kept looking at my finish. I am not blind."

Having a couch is not having a cluttered room only a more comfortable one! "Just don't think about it, okay?"

Knock Out makes a wry face for a moment. That's how he deals with things, stop ruining it with your regrets and feelings. No one needs those, specially not him.

"Blame the Lamda if it bothers you so much, not me."

He did things he regrets too, frag it.

"If that helps you recharge at night, then sure. Why not. It's not true, though."

He hasn't found anything he likes enough, ok. 'Interior decorator' is not one of his skills.

Incidentally, pretending things didn't happen or straight up ignoring them is also what Sentinel does. He's not the one who insisted they have this meeting, anyway. He just wanted to make sure Knock Out knew it was because of the energon and it's never happening again.

"Do you have a better alternative? Excuse me if winning and feeling sorry for myself is not how I act." Clearly denial is much more healthy than that.

That much is obvious. Sentinel is lucky to know mechs with some taste, they will eventually fix this.

"A terrible advice is better than no advice at all." And that's what you are doing, not being helpful at all. "As long as we are in the same page, then..." He's not the one with the repressed feelings and anger issues. Knock Out's happy living an unattached life.

"I talked to Jetstorm. Nice kid, really lively...we have a date." For a race, but Knock Out doesn't specify on purpose.

"I'm not whining, nor do I feel sorry for myself. I just don't like doing things under the influence, alright?" Unless it's passing out drunk. He is ok with that. "And no, it's not. Bad advice is more harmful than no advice."

Sentinel flexes one of his claw hands and frowns, staring at it instead of Knock Out, tension very apparent. "Great." That's all he can really think to say. Nothing else would go down with Knock Out and he knows Jetstorm can take care of himself. Plus, he isn't the type of person to try and hold the Jettwin back from contacting certain people.

Knock Out gesticulates with one of his hands, this time still sounding somewhat serious. "It wasn't all that bad. The situation wasn't awesome but we did have a good time. So there is that."

That makes Knock Out's focus his attention to those claws. He sure doesn't mind them but those really don't suit sentinel. "Will you get a new set of hands soon? I could mod the fingers so those don't look as claws anymore."

Whatever, he's going to seize that opportunity to change the subject.

"I don't know, I haven't asked Ratchet. Maybe?"

He is often right. He's even more often ignore when he's right.

"Just maybe? Do you even know what do you want?" He stands up again and walks over Sentinel, grabbing one of his wrist to give the hands a look. "I shouldn't be all that hard to change those."

"Maybe as in I need to go to the Solian temple medbay and see if he's been working on them or slacking off. I've been kind of busy, recently."

Y'know, between the green energon and drinking enough high grade to put a small brewery out of business.

"I assumed I was given these because there were no materials for a better temporary alternative."

"He did the same to Magnus. Back in our universe we didn't had all that many resources but here? You can find almost everything if you know where to look. Solus's temple is the right place."

Knock Out is still holding Sentine's wrist, fingers pressing on it's center and feelings the joints. For medical purposes, of course.

"Let me know if he doesn't have them ready in a week."

Uuuugh you stop that, he thinks without even attempting to pull away.

"Sure. Nice to know he could've made them better but didn't bother."

"That's not what I said, perhaps he didn't had the tools for it. He's still pretty new here. Why did you go to see him?" 'And not me' goes unsaid.

"Do you know how hard it is to use the link device when you have no hands? Seriously, I pretty much just slammed by face onto it until it called someone."

It works because it makes Knock Out's chuckle. He will be nice for once and don't comment how, had Sentinel done that for real, the device would have been crushed under his massive things.

"You, poor thing. At least the claws have more advantages." He moves his hand away from Sentinels' wrist and up to his elbow joints. "You can can reach more pressure points with the tips than with your usual flat fingers."

Ok, now he pulls his arm back.

"Too bad."

Said very flatly and with a scowl.

"Too bad? You still have the claws, might as well use them for something."

He's clearly still amused by this whole thing.

There are about a million things he's certain Knock Out will say next.

"I would give you a list but I don't trust you not to punch me after that." He smirks.

"Use your imagination and be creative."

What happened with the energon meant literally nothing to Sentinel and he never considered Knock Out a friend to begin with. Woops.

"He's in a cell?" News to him. Good news, thankfully.

Knock Out doesn't really consider many people 'friends' either. Acquaintances, teammates, people he likes enough not to kill...'friend' is a big word.

Idiot incompetent McCrane let him out the first time. Sentinel wants him in one of the stronger cells but that's bias because of the whole... hand thing.

"I hope you all make sure he doesn't scape again."

You all sucks at your job. What are Police officer good for? Knock Out doesn't know.

Sentinel doesn't personally believe that he's bad at his job, but realises the police force is pretty... shit.

Plus, that got Knock Out off the topic he didn't want to talk about. Win/win!

"Perhaps they need your guidance and wisdom." He manages to sound almost serious when he says that. Almost.

At least he can realize how the PF is lacking of some serious organization. Knock Out's not blaming sentinel per se.

Sentinel crosses his arms over his chest and scowls at Knock Out.

"Yeah, great. Was there anything else you wanted or are you planning to finally leave?"

"No, I think that's more than enough. I have better things to do as well." He can be rude as well, you glitch.

Don't mind him herding you out into the hall. When Knock Out is ...out, he'll make a point to slam the door.
