Open log!

WHO: Rose and anyone
WHERE: All over Haven but mainly going from Liege's temple, to the Hub and then to Solus' temple
WHEN: The day the energon crystals start appearing.
WHAT: Rose found these strange energon crystals and now she's invisible.
WARNINGS: None at the moment

Some of the occupants of Haven may notice a motorcycle going around with no rider on it. Not all that unusual considering this is a world where robots turn in vehicles after all. But, if they get a better look at it, they will notice that the motorcycle is the one Rose usually rides around on, which is not at all sentient. So how is it moving all on it's own?

The truth is, Rose is indeed riding it. It's just that she is invisible, much to her displeasure. It happened when she found these strange white crystals and got close enough to them. Now she's stuck like this.

Figuring if she were to post on the Link about it, people will think she is joking, even though she's the kind to rarely joke. Now she's one her way to the Hub and possibly Solus's temple to see if other people are affected and if there is a way to reverse it.

[Blurr would have noticed other robots with a motocycle alt mode. Those are usually small as him and bots that size catch his interest.

He's investigating the green crystals he had found by accident when he sees the motorcycle driving near. Blurr frowns. Looks like someone thinks they're fastest than the fastest mech in this planet. He can't have that.

With a jump, he turns into his car mode and drives after the motorcycle.]

[Rose isn't going racing speed on the motorcycle (she's still getting the hang of the thing after all), so Blurr manages to catch up to her rather easily.

Hearing a car approaching, Rose looks at one of the side mirrors and is relieved to see that it's just Blurr. Maybe he knows what's going on and perhaps a way to reverse it. She comes to a stop so that the distance between them is closed faster.]

[Aha, clearly the other bot quickly noticed who was the superior mech here. Blurr would be snickering if cars had that capacity. Noticing how he can't, Blurr stops in front of the motorcycle and transforms.]

I don't remember seeing you around here before. Are you knew?

[She should have realized that he would probably think that the motorcycle was another Cybertronian.]

Blurr, it's me, Rose. The motorcycle is normal but somehow I was turned invisible.

[If he looks carefully, he'll notice a boot print in the gravel next to the bike, since that is were she is resting her foot at the moment.]

[Maybe if he weren't high on green energon he wouldn't have thought that but right now he's staring at the motorcycle and enjoying its curves.

Until Rose's voice is heard.] OhIknewthat. How did this happen?

I don't. I found these white crystals in Liege's sector and this happened when I got close enough.

Anything strange happened to you lately?

[Maybe. In his defense, that's a nice looking motorcycle. iI it single?]

Elita was working with crystal ones but I don't recall those being white. And they were near Solus temple. You touched one and you became invisible? all of sudden?

No. I actually feel GREAT today. Don't I look great? [Yes, he thinks he does.]

[It's single but no humping her bike!]

You look fine... [She didn't realize how vain you could be.]

Did anything strange happened to Elita when she was working with those crystals?

Not as far as I know. I helped her to harvest the crystals and look at me, good as new.

Right. [Something seems off about you...]

Were the crystals any particular color? [Maybe there is more than just white crystals.]

[Are you sure? because he feels awesome.]

No, those where mostly transparent an they're near Solus's temple. We coudl go there to investigate! Racing all the way.

[Race him Rose, this way he will show you how fast and cool eh is. racehimrracehimracehim...]

[Yes, she's sure now. She arches a brow out of habit, even though he can't see it.]

Solus' Temple? Very well, but I think I will pass on the racing.

[She's still new to the whole modern vehicle thing Blurr! Racing would be a bad idea.]

[The saddest part is that he wouldn't really care about if if he could see it.]

Yesaroudnthere. Ha! You are too intimidated to race me? [He waves a finger at rose direction, like the cocky brainless moron he is now.] Un-der-sta-n-da-ble.

[Of course.]

No, I am just not the racing type. I do not see the point of it all. [Which is true.]

Are you sure nothing strange happened to you? You are not acting like yourself.

Hm...[He seems deep in thought for a moment.] You are right! Why to race when we can FLY?

[He's going to approach her and try to lifts Rose (very carefully) with one hand as he grabs the bike with the other. Clearly the fastest way to get to the temple is flying.]

No, I'm perfectly perfect. I did my patrols, found some crystals, talked to people..nothing out of the ordinary.

Wait, what!? [And then she yelps as he picks her up right off the motorcycle. Guess who doesn't like being treated like a rag doll?]

BLURR! What in Soa's name are you doing?!

[The only plus side to this is that he'll know where she is and won't step on her.]

I think there is something out of the ordinary with you!

[She's being treated like a porcelain doll, difference! Blurr is very, very careful, not holding her too tight or too lose.]

Getting you to the temple faster! [And flying they go. Really, really fast. He didn't hear that last part.]

[Damnit! No point in trying to protest anymore. She's just going to concentrate on not being dropped.]

[Have some faith, Rose! he's too amazing to make a mistake and drop you.

But please, don't be sick at the fast speed and throw up ion him, that won't be really nice. Thankfully, after a few seconds they reaches the temple and Blurr comes to a halt.]

Andhereweare! Aren't I the fastest mech?

Just put me down and never pick me up without asking permission ever again. [Oh does she ever sound annoyed. Too bad he can't see her glare.]

[Because that sounded like a challenge to him. Whoever, he puts her down and moves his hands to his hips. Peter Pan pose, get it.]

I remind you that I carry a sword that is able to cut through Cybertronian metal and that you picking me up puts you in perfect range.

[Not that she would seriously hurt him, but she will poke him with the Dragon Buster if need be.]

Are you threatening me? When All I did what to help you get to the temple? [He frowns, partially confused and mostly annoyed. Then looks at the hand still holding the bike.] Oh...right. Itsanicebike. [Still holding it, by the way.]

He will apologize profusely once this is over.]

It's a warning Blurr, and I could have gotten here just fine on the motorcycle. Again, please put it down.

Fine. [He says that very slowly, still frowning. He puts the bike down.

Really close to her.

Oops, sorry, he didn't see you there.]

Being on the way back to Solus' temple herself, Elita ended up driving alongside Rose by the tunnels leading to the temple. At first, she'd been more concentrated on the crystals she was towing (both after her on a makeshift sled of a sort, and in her own subspace) and keeping away from the mech next to her because surely they'd want what she was carrying even if she was just doing to make sure it'd all be in a single place, easy to find---

And then she realised that that motorcycle was really not cybertronian at all, and while she wasn't overly familiar with the vehicle Rose drove, it did merit edging a little closer to check it out

"New here, or did you run across something?" Either could be true, since there were non-cybertronian mechanoids - robots - around that could transform.

Rose looks over to even though the bot can't see it. She really shouldn't be surprised that the motorcycle is being mistaken for one transforming lifeforms on this world. Blurr already made that mistake earlier.

"I came across something, and now I'm hoping there is someone in the medbay who can reverse the effects." If Elita is really paying attention she'll realize that the voice is coming from above the motorcycle and not from the actual vehicle.

She does pick up on that and she'd raise an upper optic ridge if she could, but being in altmode sort of precludes that sort of expression. The mention of stumbling upon something however, piques her interest.

It could be whatever, of course, but...

"By the sound of that, you're not, in any concievable way the bike itself, so you're one of the organics?" She pauses, flickering her sensors over the vehicle. "... Invisible? What did you find that caused it?" There might be an eager vibration in Elita's tone, there might not.

She just... if its more energon crystals, she needs to.

To keep it safe, of course.

"I am. One of the humans to be exact."

She didn't know Elita but perhaps the bot could help her out. It doesn't hurt to tell her what happened anyway, right?

"I found these white crystals near Liege Maximo's temple." She gives a sigh before continuing. "When I got close enough to them, this happened and now I'm stuck. Thus why I've come here to see if anyone could help."

Almost immediately as Rose mentions finding crystals, she's filled with the undeniable urge, the need to go get them, so no one else can have them, because it'd be better if they're in a single place if needed, right?

But even as she swerves, Elita straightens out again.

Later.

"My best guess would be that the crystals had some sort of emanation, energy or vibration, that might have done something, but I'm not a scientist. Going to the medics is probably a good idea. I can always go to where you found the crystals and see if I can pick something up, and send the info on if I pick up something that might have done it."

And take them with her. For safe-keeping.

Thankfully Rose doesn't care for any kind of crystals anymore. Elita can have all of them for all she cares. Though, that swerve makes Rose a little concern.

"Either way, I am pretty sure they are responsible for this. If you want to study them you can them [insert exact coordinates here]. Hopefully they will not affect you the way they had affected me."

She'll be happy about that, and her engine drops briefly into a deeper purring at the coordinates, though this time she doesn't swerve even if she does feel the urge to go get them now before anyone else can get to them.

"True, it'd be inconvenient if they did, but at least invisibility is fairly harmless. I'd hope it'd be temporary though. Permanent invisibility would be... unpleasant." Her voice dips deeper, emphasising more than her choice of words probably does that she wouldn't find it amusing at all to be invisible all the time either, and is sympathetic.

"If nothing else, I can pick them up and keep them safe if any scientist wishes to study them." Keep them safe, but not hand them over. Never that. They'll be hers. "Did you see any other strange crystals about?"

A good question as any, right?

"I'm more worried about being stepped while I am like this than any unpleasant feeling that may accompany it." She's really going to have to get in the habit of carrying something not invisible around with her if this lasts for too long.

"As far as any other strange crystals, I haven't seen any. And to be honest, unless there is a crystal that could change me back, I really do not care."

"True. Hmm, you could, perhaps, pick up a bell, or program your Link device into making continuous sound for you? That would, at least, make others aware of somebody being around, visible or not." Elita paused and flicked her scanners out over the racing bike beside her. "Because as long as we're aware of it in some way, just a simple scanner check makes it obvious somebody's there."

She laughed softly then and she could certainly understand Rose's point of view. It briefly made her wonder about her obsession and need (greed) for the crystals, but the thought was fleeting as best.

Someone collecting them for safekeeping was just practical, wasn't it?

"Sorry. Certainly understandable. I'm considering," needing, obssively thinking, "going looking for more, and if the medics can't help you, if I do find more, you're welcome to try and see if something can negate the effect."

But she couldn't have them.

"I think the continuous noise would eventually get on my nerves." Constant repetitive for Soa-knows how long? Yeah, no thanks. She likes her peace and quiet too much for that.

"I'll just either keep close to my motorcycle or have my firelizard on my shoulder. Both are visible after all." Though it will probably be strange to see a firelizard just floating by without actually flying.

Rose gives a nod and then remembers that Elita cannot see her. "I would appreciate that."

"I'd agree," Elita says with a chuckle, audible over the noise of her engine more like a suggestion than a full sound. "Perhaps when you're actually around others, though keeping at least the firelizard with you should work well enough as well."

Less noisy too, which is definitely a bonus.

"I'll ping you if I do find more beyond the cluster you stumbled on, then."
