Arts and Crafts
Who: Arcee and whoever
What: Making pointy things
When: 22nd
Where: Junkpile
Notes: None
Arcee had been human for some time now, and much to her dismay she'd been getting used to it. Not wanting others to, well, notice, she'd been keeping to herself in hopes that the time alone would make her feel otherwise.
Maybe it was working. Lately she'd been feeling, erm, smaller. Weaker. Humans squish easy. But the thing is, she knows they aren't a weak race. They had ways to make themselves stronger, they're versatile.
Seemed about time to do the same.
Finally taking some time out of the temple, Arcee made her way to the Junkpile in hopes to find something, anything she could use to defend herself with in case things ever got ugly. Even if they didn't, she missed her weapons, almost felt incomplete without them. At the very least, it gave her a project to do to kill some time.
After finding some scrap metal, Arcee found herself a place to sit down and began getting to work. Makeshift blades would do for now. Maybe find a way so she could wear them on her arms like she used to.
...Haha, is this what she was reduced to? Making stuff out of garbage? Oh Cybertron, you sure did know how to push her.

Lowering his head a bit, he headed towards her, reaching to adjust the backpack slung across his shoulders. It'd weathered quite a bit through the months he'd been here, but the straps were starting to fray...
Still, when Arcee says move? You don't care about the way something feels like too hard a pull and it'll tear. You move.

"What have they done to you?" she shakes her head, as if disapproving of the Lambda's choice. This is getting too ridiculous for her.
She does notice during her look over, however, that someone is in need of a new backpack. Or at the very least, a sewing lesson.
"Your bag's not gonna last you much longer, kiddo," she sighs and gives him a pat on the head. ...Oh. Oh no.
He's so soft.

His tail flicked from side to side at the thought. Poor laptop. Maybe it was outdated with all the tech that was around here, but it was still his.

So back to the laptop, Arcee knows it's a big part of his life. It's almost like his trademark or something. She can imagine fixing it is top priority right now.
Let's help.
"Tell you what, I'll look for a bag, you look for your computer parts," Arcee wouldn't know the first thing about fixing a laptop. Bags, however? Bags she can do.
"How'd it break, anyway?"

Well, that's a rueful look, and him rubbing the back of his head.
"...I kind of hit it hard enough so that it fell on the ground. I'm lucky it still works."
Mostly, at least.
The OS seems stuck on Windows 8, even if he only installed it as a shell.

"At least there's that. Come on, we'll find your--well, whatever you need," Arcee doesn't know much about any windows or why you need eight of them. That's why she offered to find the bag. She just wants to help to make up for the fact that she couldn't be there during his change...

At some point, he'll need to learn how to solder, he thinks. But he returns the smile with a thankful one of his own. "Thanks, Arcee." And then he pauses, just a moment. "Um, I wasn't pulling you away from something else, was I?"
