WHO: Rose and anyone who wants to see, and perhaps calm down a dragon.
WHERE: Starts at Liege Maximo's temple and then moves out to the rest of Haven.
WHEN: Beginning of the whole species swap.
WHAT: Rose gets turned into a dragon and some of the more primal instincts kick in.
WARNINGS: Possible violence.
Rose was in her quarters at Liege Maximo's temple when it happened. One minute things were normal and than the next the giant room seemed suddenly smaller and felt far to confined to her liking. A need to be out to be out in the open and an unexplained rage screamed at the back her mind.
Something was wrong. Very wrong. Her body felt too different and logical thoughts were being taken over by primal instincts. A low growl escaped her and she shook her head in an effort to try to clear her thoughts. But it was no use.
With a roar, she charged out of the room and down the maze like corridors of the temple. She needed open space, to feel the wind on her face and wings. She didn't let anything stand her way to get outside, and any Acolyte was knocked out of way and ran over.
When she finally exited the temple, she admitted another cry and spread her wings. With one powerful stroke of those wings, she was in the air. A thrill ran through her when she took flight. She gained more height before she banked and started to head down the mountain, towards the rest of Haven.
A black dragon is now in flight over Haven. For those on the ground should probably be wary in case she is in a hunting mood. Those in the sky should also be cautious, for dragons can be quite territorial.

( action ) dragon, meet dragon.
A dragon. She distinctly knew that outline. An odd feeling settled into her chest; a mixture of comfort and concern. A dragon..?
Perhaps, an accidental species swap. She was near envious, however. The Pendragons had always had the crest of the red dragon as their symbol, and she was gifted the factor of the dragon upon her birth. The dragon was a symbolic animal to her and quite close to her heart.
..Or had an actual dragon come through the Lambda? Now, that would be even more interesting. And something Saber would want to tame. Beyond amazing with animals and dealing with them, a dragon would be a challenge and a reliable partner.
Attempting to wave away her more romantic and silly ideas forming in her mind, she continued to watch the dragon. How to get its attention, or did she even want to?
((Rose may be able to sense Saber in her dragon form due to Saber's symbolic and magical link to dragon lore. It'd make this easier, at least.))
( action )
It didn't take her long to notice that it was Saber she was headed for. One part of her mind thought the other woman would be possible prey, while the part that still had logical thought said Saber was a friend. It was indeed frustrating to the Dragoon to have such an internal conflict, and she gave out a roar as a result.
Rose landed on a pile of junk not too far from where Saber stood. She kept her distance for now, since she still had conflicting thoughts.
If Saber were to look closer at the dragon, she would notice there was a collar with one of the Link devices attached to it.

The dragon's movements and mannerisms.. it definitely showed uncertainty. And from that, Saber couldn't decide if this was possibly someone she knew-
Her eyes squinted as she noticed something out of place around the dragon's neck. A collar. And something on it that reflected light. Wild dragons did not have collars.
Unfortunately, Saber couldn't quite make out it was a Link device from this distance, but she felt more certain this creature wasn't quite as dangerous as it could be.
The knight stood still and would await the dragon to move first, as to not accidentally anger it.

She shook her head some and growled. Everything felt so wrong, and she wondered why Saber just stood there rather than flee or try to attack. Most people from her world would do one or the other when they saw a dragon.

There was innocent curiosity and eagerness in the knight's eyes as she began to step forward.. very slowly. She walked proud and in proper posture, but her hands were by her sides and she carried no weapon. It wasn't submissive, but it was not threatening.
..Even if it was someone she knew, the chance to meet a dragon. Saber calmly reminded herself, however, this might be someone she knew and thus she should be respectful and mindful of her actions.

She admitted a low growl as a warning.

I am acting like a child. It's a beast and even if it may be someone else, I need to be careful. It'd be best to leave it be and alert others of its presence.
But, no, that means others may get to claim this wondrous creature before her. And Saber wouldn't be able to handle that so well.
So she waits and stands. And doesn't move.

She continued to watch Saber warily, to see what she would do next.
no subject
"Is this your true form?" she simply asked, loud enough to be heard. If this was, indeed, a victim of another species change.. it seemed most of them had kept their own minds and the dragon should at least be able to answer in one way or another.
no subject
So she simply shook her head as a way to say 'no, this was not her natural state.'

With confirmation that the dragon was someone else entirely, Saber seemed to relax somewhat. The knight was smart enough to near any closer, however.

To ask who would be silly and time-consuming, so Saber goes against that. But since she knows the person, obviously she should be the most respect she could.
Still.
"I.. would like to see you up close. Are you still uncertain of yourself?"
Rose is seeing a side of Saber not many will ever see; the more gentle, romantic side. This is a dragon, and even though Saber knows she now can not tame this one, she would at least like to .. pet it, perhaps? Touch it.

Now, though, Saber was close enough to get a peek at the Link communicator on the dragon's neck.
"Ah, I see you have your device. Perhaps you should try using it?"
Did the Link not translate? The knight was fairly certain it did.
no subject
She tried to pull it off so that she could use it, but it became obvious that small device was not to be used with such big claws.
no subject
Saber wouldn't want the dragon to accidentally destroy their link communicator. That would be quite an inconvenience.
By now, the dragon seems to have considerably calmed down. The knight was quite glad.
no subject
She made some gravelly, growling noises as a way to talk, and hoped the device translated it alright.
"It is Rose."
no subject
What a relief that the translator does work. That'll make it a lot easier for Rose.
"How are you feeling now?"
