WHO: Bulkhead, Wheeljack
WHERE: Future Jackhammer build site
WHEN: V-day, afternoonish
WHAT: Confronting feelings
WARNINGS: Wreckers and feels. Wrecker feels. R, just to be safe.
A month since the convo with Smokescreen over the link, that got him riled enough to sputter about feelings he'd kept dormant for centuries. It was embarrassing considering he knew Smokescreen had only been joking around. The awkwardness that came up between him and Blurr at the realization that they both had feelings for the same mech.
Wheeljack.
Blurr had insisted he ask Wheeljack, find out what the other's feelings were toward him. Despite the insistence, a part of Bulk still felt guilty. If the two of them would be happy together, why should he get in the middle of it? Possibly end it? It had been him, after all, that ended what they had as Wreckers centuries ago. When he'd left the Wreckers to follow Optimus. A decision that, while it was good for him, he knew Wheeljack still had problems accepting.
But those feelings, once stirred up, refused to leave again. No matter how much he tried to ignore them. It would be good to know one way or the other. He wanted to know, to get it other with. So they could move on.
It's finally after things have settled down, after the centipedes are gone. That he can focus on it again.
"Hey Jackie. What's your location?" He manages to keep his voice calm as he pings the other Wrecker for his location. He hopes it's not too odd for him to ask for whereabouts.

"I...want it too. Wanted it for a while."
His voice is soft, like he's worried this is some sort of dream. That he'll wake up from if he speaks too loud. This was a risk. A risk that one of them would disappear and never return, or that one of them would die. Wheeljack had already died once here and came back. While many others haven't. But in his spark, Bulkhead felt it was a risk he was willing to take. He knows there's more that could be said too, and he knows Wheeljack enough to be able to tell when he wanted, needed something. Specially when it was something he wanted himself.
It seemed like everything just fell into place for them here. When it never quite worked out back home. It was like a second chance. A chance he wanted badly. Hearing the vent at their foreheads touching, he shifts a hand up again to tilt the Wrecker's chin up some.
"Jackie.."
The name's said softly. There's understanding there in his tone. Forget the holding back, he's leaning in for another kiss, feeling his optics close. The kiss was less questioning and nervous. More confident. Wanting this, needing this.

His legs lifted off the ground as he hoisted himself up into Bulkheads arms, knowing the Wrecker would hold him. Now that...everything was out in the open, there was no need to hold back, just to live a little. Just for now. When the Wrecker lifestyle didn't envelope their every action.
He felt more delicate this way, which wasn't a word Wheeljack preferably liked. But here...maybe he could relax, give in to this a little. Because deep down inside past the metal and wiring, he wanted to do this.
A tiny bit.

He's giving vent to the feelings he's held dormant for centuries. Feelings he thought would never go anywhere again. With one arm supporting Wheeljack, he's got one arm that's free, and it's not idle. Letting his hand slide over plating, as he familiarizes himself with that frame again.

When Wheeljack lifts his head again, he doesn't move it an inch from Bulkhead's face, as if ready to sink back into it at a moment's notice.
"So where do we go from here?
...Partner."
A soft smile graces his lips.
