"Words are far more painful than physical harm," Rung said quietly, shaking his head a bit. "I can take the physical and verbal abuse, but I don't think Dead End could take the verbal. I have a feeling others will assume he's just using me and threaten him or, in general, just express their dislike of the relationship. I think that, in itself, may do more damage than anything else.
