WHO: Ratchet and Ambulon
WHERE: At the border of the Badlands
WHEN Sometime at the very beginning of Part 2 of the Badlands plot
WHAT: Ratchet wakes up from a blackout on the edge of the Badlands and is promptly attacked by a creature. Ambulon comes to his rescue.
WARNINGS: Given that it's these two, there will probably be angst and cursing.
Ratchet wakes up.
This is not an unusual occurrence, save for the fact that he wakes up standing. More than that, he wakes up standing far away from Haven, near the edge of the Badlands.
"Slag..."
He has no desire to be travelling back into that place. Not now, not ever. The fact that he'd obviously somehow walked himself out towards it was... concerning.
With a frown on his face, Ratchet turns back toward Haven with a frown on his face.
He does not notice the shadowy form chittering quietly behind him.
