How to keep a tank occupied [closed]
WHO: Bay!Shockwave and Megatronus Prime.
WHERE: Megatronus Prime's sector.
WHEN Right the heck now.
WHAT: Shockwave needs something constructive to do, and Megatronus has tasks for capable hands. Additionally, there's something a little different about Shockwave's Glyph recently...
WARNINGS: Potential violence of the fist-to-the-face variety.
"Accessible" was among the many adjectives rarely applied to Megatronus Prime. Between duties outside of the Haven itself and the ability to teleport himself halfway across the planet in the blink of an optic, Megatronus could be a hard mech to corner. Personally, he didn't see a problem with the situation. It kept his unnecessary conflicts with Prima to a minimum (there were quite enough necessary fights to be picked with the leader of the Firstforged as it was) and the mechs bearing his Glyph were hardly the type to take well to him hanging over their shoulders at every opportunity.
He had, however, agreed to meet with Shockwave; he'd even asked the mech to come to his temple. For the moment, that meant he was within an unlocked section of the structure – albeit one of the lower, out-of-the-way sections of it, overseeing a group of his Acolytes as they performed a few modifications to one of the hallways.
Just because he'd invited Shockwave over didn't mean that he had to make finding him easy on the mech. Building a little challenge into every day activities made for a stronger personality in the long. Besides - if Shockwave was even half as talented as his pet, he'd have little difficulty locating him.

As it stood, Megatronus was not in the first place he'd looked and Shockwave was not the kind of mech to waste time with tracking him down, Firstforged or not.
That was what the Driller was for.
It hadn't taken the creature too long to locate the Prime, and it took even less time for it to smash through the walls and let its master out from the cockpit, in the most glorious spin cycle possible.

A handful of nearby Acolytes scattered as Shockwave and his mount broke through the wall, seeking to avoid the heavy chunks of metal their opening tossed forth. Megatronus didn't bother to move out of the way; a few bits of rock and metallic debris bounced harmlessly off of his armored back.
"You're late," he threw over his shoulder.

"If you wanted me to be prompt, you would not be in such an area." So out of the way, honestly Megatronus. He's a tank not a race car, he's not exactly the fastest thing out there, and while the Driller certainly does have speed to it, that hardly counts when it is required to track someone down. Not that he expected Megatronus to stand about the front of his temple waiting.
Shockwave makes his way up to the Firstforged's side, "You had a task for me?"

"Those aren't snacks," he warned. Driller was an impressive creature, but not for its intelligence.
He turned his gaze on Shockwave.
"Perhaps my faith in your tracking abilities was excessive. You might consider asking for coordinates next time," he suggested. It was no guarantee that he'd provide them, but if Shockwave waited to catch him in a good mood the mech would find him more forthcoming. "And I may. You've been teaching one of Solus' Marked how to defend himself?"
no subject
"I do not believe you'd give them so easily." No, Megatronus' attitude didn't in any sense hint that he'd simply provide something, even as simple as his location, just like that.
Shockwave shifts, tilting his head at the question. "Considering that he lives within your temple and we use your arena, is there a purpose to asking such a question? Unless you take little notice of what goes on in your own domain, Megatronus."
And he highly doubted that was the case.
