Barricade had shut his Link off shortly after he'd left the Haven, in the opposite direction from the Badlands. He'd seen it and there was nothing there for him; better to explore a little farther than he had before, while he gave himself time to think.

And to get as far away as possible so he could send transmissions out on old lines he rarely used anymore. No one was going to answer, but saying everything out loud, sending it all into space... had helped. Gave him a chance to breathe a little instead of keeping all of it in. None of it was anything he felt comfortable sharing with other mechs here; the last two he could have were... well.

That was why he'd gone in the first place.

Eventually he had to come back, though. Even if it was really rather nice out there. Seeing stars again... erupting volcanoes. Get past the whole rocky terrain thing and this Cybertron wasn't really too bad. But it was the bugs that brought him back. His headlights had attracted a cloud of the things and the trails of them leaven the Haven led him back. Like some stupid song.

So he'd come back.

(Option 1)
Barricade waves a few of the robo-bugs away from his headlights as he finally enters the Haven again, taking a look around before eventually heading in, intent on giving it the full once-over before heading to a certain spot that had gotten his attention when he'd turned the Link back on.

(Option 2)
He'd caught the mention of a graveyard out in Alpha Trion's quadrant when he'd turned the Link on again. He exvents as he approaches it, slowing to a stop. He'd disappeared for a while, but... time to pay his respects now. Stay a while with a little bit of quiet for once.

(Option 3)
Eventually he has to leave the graveyard behind. He can't stay there forever, after all. Once he decides to leave, he heads back to Solus Prime's temple. He could use a good cleaning... and finding someone that might be able to explain why that symbol on his shoulder has gotten larger. It's disconcerting and in this case, he definitely needs answers.

"It was. The last time I was on a Cybertron, anyway." The distinction is important to him. Mostly because he's done this way too often in too many places. But at least it means he's met a lot of people. "Little surprising to meet folks that're the opposite of what you're used to?"

"Is it good to be back here for you?" He cocks his head to the side at the question. "It is a little bit, but it I enjoy it."

"Well. It's hardly my own Cybertron, really. But I like it better than the last Cybertron I was on." So generally it's good, really. "Mm, glad you're enjoying it, at least."

"Aside from the First Forged here, it doesn't seem to be much of anyone's Cybertron, but at least it is healthy." It was much better than his own, that was for sure. "There is something to be said about learning about others... I'm sure." He tries for a small joke, hoping to see where Barricade's humor was.

"It is. It's alive, which is more than most of us c'n say about ours." Definitely more than he can say about his... or what he's certain was going to happen to his, anyway. He snorts quietly; unfortunately for Megatron, Barricade's humor leans more... morbid, mostly. "There is, at that. Lotta differences between us all to look into."

"It is nice to see, in someways it offers me hope that my own might remain alive." He notices that his humor leaves something to be desired for Barricade, though it is good to know the mech recognized the joking attempt. "It creates for a very unique view in this place, that is for certain."

"Does give some hope, doesn't it? That things could go right. Or they'd be salvageable at least." It was part of why he'd gone back to his own Decepticons. If things could be right on one Cybertron... maybe his own had a chance. "Most certainly. And gives you a chance to see how other dimensions live."

"It does at that." He smiles at the statement. "I do like learning about other dimensions. I find it quite interesting to learn how the war has started in each dimension."

"That's the one part that varies the most, I've found. Though I hear a lot about freedom fighters, from time t'time." Which is strange, for him.

"So it seems. I take it that yours did not start that way?" He questions, is expression one of genuine interest.

"Not at all. The Decepticons were the military, more or less, and the Autobots were mostly scientists. Started mostly as some beef between Megatron and Optimus and escalated." Or that's how it looks now, at least. Now that he's old enough to not be blinded by loyalty to his Lord High Protector.

"I see, it's regrettable that a personal problem escalated to such a level." He shakes his head a little bit in regret.

Barricade shrugs and waves one clawed hand in a dismissive gesture. "It was always gonna happen, one way or another, I'm sure."

"That does seem to be the trend, in one way or another a war breaks out and the factions become the Autobots and Decepticons, regardless of the reasoning why." He agrees, having noticed that commonality among them all.

"So it would seem. There's few of us that c'n say they've avoided war entirely. Faction names're pretty universal regardless of the war, though." The TransTechs were still in factions without fighting, after all.

"From what I have gathered even those that avoided the war were not unaffected by it. With the faction names being so consistent it makes me wonder what else may be nearly, or completely universal."

"That'd come down to specific mechs, probably. Some of them are pretty similar, from universe to universe." There was a reason that most mechs got headaches when Starscream is mentioned, after all.

"That does seem to be the case." He nods in understanding.
