And Ignite Your Bones
WHO: Barricade and OPEN!
WHERE: All over the Haven
WHEN About now-ish
WHAT: Barricade returns to the Haven after an absence
WARNINGS: n/a; will update when applicable
Barricade had shut his Link off shortly after he'd left the Haven, in the opposite direction from the Badlands. He'd seen it and there was nothing there for him; better to explore a little farther than he had before, while he gave himself time to think.
And to get as far away as possible so he could send transmissions out on old lines he rarely used anymore. No one was going to answer, but saying everything out loud, sending it all into space... had helped. Gave him a chance to breathe a little instead of keeping all of it in. None of it was anything he felt comfortable sharing with other mechs here; the last two he could have were... well.
That was why he'd gone in the first place.
Eventually he had to come back, though. Even if it was really rather nice out there. Seeing stars again... erupting volcanoes. Get past the whole rocky terrain thing and this Cybertron wasn't really too bad. But it was the bugs that brought him back. His headlights had attracted a cloud of the things and the trails of them leaven the Haven led him back. Like some stupid song.
So he'd come back.
(Option 1)
Barricade waves a few of the robo-bugs away from his headlights as he finally enters the Haven again, taking a look around before eventually heading in, intent on giving it the full once-over before heading to a certain spot that had gotten his attention when he'd turned the Link back on.
(Option 2)
He'd caught the mention of a graveyard out in Alpha Trion's quadrant when he'd turned the Link on again. He exvents as he approaches it, slowing to a stop. He'd disappeared for a while, but... time to pay his respects now. Stay a while with a little bit of quiet for once.
(Option 3)
Eventually he has to leave the graveyard behind. He can't stay there forever, after all. Once he decides to leave, he heads back to Solus Prime's temple. He could use a good cleaning... and finding someone that might be able to explain why that symbol on his shoulder has gotten larger. It's disconcerting and in this case, he definitely needs answers.

He will. Especially since he knows the way .]
no subject
Good boy.]
no subject
Though, once he finally reaches a medbay, he shifts on his feet and motions Knock Out in. After you~]
no subject
What a gentleman. [Your time to watch him strut around then.]
no subject
I can be, from time to time. [With the ulterior motive of watching Knock Out strut around. Mm, tasty.]
no subject
[It's a thing worth watching. He looks around the medbay and picks up one of the medical tools, inspecting it.] Hm...you all work with this?
no subject
Most of us. I prefer using what I have on me naturally, but if I need something particular for the work... [He's not unfamiliar with the tools around here.]
no subject
I keep my tools at hand too. [At that, he turns his arm into a drill. Enjoy the puns.]
no subject
Well, then that makes two of us. [He converts one hand into flail mode and the other into a rifle shortly after.]
no subject
Thaaaat's nice. Can I get a better look?
no subject
Mm-hmm. Go right ahead.
no subject
[Knock Out gets closer to Barricade and holds the arm up, inspecting the rifle carefully.] How much fire range you got?
no subject
[He lets Knock Out give it a good looking over and rattles off a number.] Only mid-range, far as my kind goes, but that depends on how well you aim. And I prefer things a bit more up close and personal, myself.
no subject
[He twist it carefully a few times and then let's the arm go.] I can think of better things than fighting to do up close and personal.
no subject
[He waits a few more moments before converting back to his normal arms.] Somehow I ain't surprised. Mm, but do tell anyway~
no subject
Why telling when I can show you? [Another of Knock Out's devilish grins, get.] Go sit on a berth, I will go get some tools.
[For the scanner he means, but takes that as you want.]
no subject
Oh, tools. Very well, I'll behave. For now. [At least it seems empty enough around here that he has his pick of the litter.]
no subject
Knock Out looks around until he finds the supplies he requires for the exam. They really need to get better tools but he already discovered that those aren't easy to find. He will need to make his own then, he could do that.. He returns to Barricades's side and puts the tools in the nearest table, grabbing the scanner.]
Now, stay still.
no subject
[He settles in, eyeballing the tools for a few moments. Barricade is used to operating with the bare minimum of tools - mostly his own weapons and a set of line clamps or anything he can dig up that looks useful - so this is really more supplies than he is accustomed to. He settles down on the berth, stilling his plating.]
Gonna do my best; no promises, though.
