angleofscience: (hmm - not as planned...)

[Closed] I'm sorry because I mean what I'm saying

WHO: Jetfire [personal profile] angleofscience and Starscream [personal profile] aerospacecommander
WHERE: Jetfire's room in Liege's temple
WHEN: Slightly forward dated to late tomorrow
WHAT: Trying to avoid doing something foolish during the Calling's effects, Jetfire locks both himself and Starscream in his room. Arguments due to the negative (emotional) effects of the Call ensues.
WARNINGS: None, I think.

He'd caught himself drifting away from haven thrice flying back to his room in Liege's temple and that was enough to convince him this was the right decision. There was a nagging, gawning frustration that Starscream probably wouldn't appreciate it, and Jetfire wasn't sure why he was so annoyed over merely the thought of that.

It might have had something to do with the constant becoking tug that sunk fiery little hooks into his mind and yanked. But he wouldn't let that happen, and luckily Starscream had met him by his room... Well, it rather looked like Starscream had arrived before him and was attempting to leave when he got there, but he just had to step in front of the Seeker and walk forwards to force Starscream back and inside again.

He had something that, when activated, would make sure the door stayed locked for at least two days; hopefully that would be enough.

Said "something" actually being a virus to temporarily corrupt the locking mechanism.

He still caught himself almost destroying the little computer it was contained in before he gritted his teeth, connected it to the lock, activated the transfer and turned away from the door as while the virus did his thing.

He didn't like giving in to the paranoid whisper about not letting Starscream at his back, but there were also reasons to listen to said whisper. Just couldn't let any of those feelings get out of hand.

"I hope you weren't planning anything for the coming two days." Jetfire said blandly and leaned back against the door, arms folded over his chestplates.

Starscream let out a low noise when he was slammed into the wall the second time. He didn't cease his struggling either, as futile as it may have been.

"I don't deserve? You're the traitor! You turned your back on everything. You betrayed me! You should feel lucky that I haven't eliminated you when I had the chance!"

He really wished he could use his strength to get out of the larger jet's grasp, but there was no point.

That didn't mean he wouldn't keep on trying. His anger wasn't letting him get away with anything less.

"Now, I almost regret it. SINCE YOU KEEP TREATING ME LIKE SOME BLASTED TOY YOU CAN CONTROL. GUESS I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO THAW YOU OUT NEXT TIME YOU CRASH IN THE ICE!"

He mentally, repeatedly, cursed to himself about Jetfire's strength and how it was being abused. And mostly how he didn't deserve this sort of treatment.

... Though there were also some lingering thoughts that drifted on the edge of paranoia. What if this had been a plan all along? Jetfire already turned traitor once.

He tried to ignore the mental nagging, but it was certainly hard, especially when Jetfire yelled back at him.

Starscream didn't really comment much on it, but he did start struggling again.

"THEN LET ME GO!"

He just wanted to explode and go somewhere else. Anywhere. Just get away. He felt like he was being forced into a corner and he did not like the results.

"You can't hold me like this forever, anyway. So, let. Me. Down. Now." He didn't care if his statement sounded like a demand, it sort of was one.

On another note, he was obviously determined not to talk about the subject anymore.

Starscream surprised himself by regaining the slightest bit of control over his emotions. Which was a good thing since he almost felt the overwhelming urge to shoot Jetfire again once he was released.

But Starscream reeled in his all the anger and rage and just retreated to the other side of the room. It was there that he sat on the berth and glared at the wall like it had offended him in a very bad way.

He would probably remain in that spot for the rest of the time, sulking over everything that happened and his bruised ego.
