WHAT: Marvelous and Joe cook ribs. Aboard a pirate ship.
WARNINGS: Probably crimes against cooking and some rough language, but otherwise none?



Marvelous considers himself a man of action and resourcefulness, which means that once he and Joe are aboard his ship, he heads right up the stairs from the engine room for the kitchen attached to the main cabin, with the rack of ribs held over his head.

The Doc had definitely left his cookbook behind; Marvelous could totally figure out how to fix something up from that thing!

Not that he was going to tell Joe his idea of 'cooking' was 'cutting up the apple before I bite into it'.

Joe still finds everything going on in his life right now ridiculous and bizarre and... really, rather fun. Back home, he had expected to live a short and relatively brutal life before Wily's death machines cut him down, and had decided to go out in a blaze of glory. Instead, here he was, standing on a flying pirate ship with a crazy guy who called himself Marvelous.

"So where the hell did you get this ship?" he asked. "It's fucking awesome."

"The Galleon?" Marvelous asks, "my Captain had it built, I think. Then he, uh, died, and left it to me." Even now that he'd been safely avenged, AkaRed was kind of a touchy subject. Still, things were settled, so he shakes it off fairly easily in order to dump the ribs on the counter and start rummaging around for Don's cookbooks.

"I take it you're not used to spaceships," he guesses. Which seemed like the weirdest concept until he went to Earth!
