Drift was worried about Vandal. He figured anyone seeing that post would worry. She looked different. Tense, like under stress. And he couldn't do much: he wasn't First Aid. He wasn't Rung. He couldn't do anything to help her...except this.

He rolled up outside her trailer. The last time he'd been here had been back then, when he could fit inside the trailer. It felt strange to see it again from the 'right' perspective, feeling less weak and powerless. She'd been so strong for him back then, even facing Wing, she'd been stronger and smarter than he was. He wished she could see that, could see herself the way he did.

He stays in his alt mode, giving a fast little honk. "Ready?" He was determined to make tonight go well, to keep that smile on her face.

"I don't know. Probably wouldn't even pick a ground alt. I mean, if you could choose, why would you?"

He buys some time, adjusting himself around the pink cupcakey mass of poof.

"Uh." Well, if Wing could do it, so could he. "Truth." He's not afraid of a little honesty.

[vandalization]

"I dunno. You know I love cars, Drift. Real ones from Earth. That'd be cool." She gets cozy again because it's very apparent she's not going anywhere any time soon.

"Okay. Truth, then." She taps her chin with one finger.

"Describe your biggest fantasy, in detail. Regardless of person or place."

She flashes him a little victorious smile.

"Being a flyer has its drawbacks, plus some people are afraid of flying." He's tempted to ask Drift what he'd do if he gained wings, but it's Vandal's turn to ask the questions.

"I like how she always adds the 'in detail' part." Clearly Vandal is a pro at this. "Is it too late to specify a sexual fantasy?"
