"Good to know." He relaxed when Rung returned to his seat, not particularly in the mood to have rank rise up and become an obstacle in a simple conversation.

"This does seem like the perfect place for contemplation. Though it is still somewhat hard to believe that this specific area is actually on Cybertron rather than elsewhere."

He glanced out toward the lake and surrounding area, worries momentarily forgotten. It was nice, and he could see why the mech might have sought out the area to be alone with his thoughts. ...He may have avoided Rung in the past, but that was simply because he was never particularly fond of sessions himself, no matter how practical in the unending war situation they were.

It was a very minor abuse of his rank to avoid them when possible, but one that was often unneeded anyway, given how often an attack or hurried meeting forced them to reschedule.

But this was no session, and he had no reason to avoid the mech unless Rung wanted him to leave.

"How have you been doing? I know being here is something of a sharp adjustment."

...Though if he wasn't careful, he'd end up turning this into a session himself. Whoops?
