TEMPLE OF SCIENCE
WHO: Pharma, Drift, Liege, anyone in Liege's temple that wants to poke Pharma.
WHERE: Pharma's lab or around the temple
WHEN: Now. Herp.
WHAT: Working on the cure, general shenanigans
WARNINGS: Medic snark?
Pharma instructed his acolyte to set the final vial in the test tube rack and sat back, staring at the mess that now occupied his desk. He hated a messy work station. The acolyte would just have to take care of that too. Speaking of the silent robed figure, it really needed a name... it was getting awkward just addressing it as 'acolyte'. The medic wondered briefly how it would react to being called 'First Aid'?
For now, he had nothing more to do until his test patient returned. Perhaps he'd go explore some more of the temple...

Ostensibly, it was because he was focusing on Pharma's arm, peering as directed at the joint in his wrist. He whistled softly. "Would you look at that?" He made a point of taking a scan directly of the joint, and got a second one of its match in Pharma's other limb.
"He's got the worst case of upgrade phobia I've ever encountered," he added conversationally. "Most of us have learned to make do with what we can get, when it comes to repairs, but nooo. Only an exact match to what he lost is good enough for him."

"It would drive me crazy to lose someone I'd worked with for so long. It's the way they seem to know where everything is and exactly what tool I'm going to ask for," he said, wondering if he'd really ever felt that way about anyone. Not many assistants could keep up with him long enough.
"Exact match? Tsk, that's rather demanding. Were you not at liberty to refuse?"

He sighed. "He was my superior officer at the time," he said with exagerrated dismay. "Refusing was out of the question."

He waited patiently as Knock Out finished his scans, massaging his elbow joints briefly when he was allowed to move again.
"Ah, that makes sense. Superior officers can be such pains. I prefer to not have to attend to them if I can avoid it."

He laughed sharply. "If only I had the luxury! Trained medical staff are few and far between where I come from, unfortunately." 'Unfortunately', as if he didn't exploit that fact mercilessly.
