Oops. Ambulon accidentally most of a Rung and an entire Pharma. Is that bad?

WHO: Rung, Ambulon, Pharma ... Ratchet, First Aid, and whoever stages a rescue maybe??? I DUNNO. LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
WHERE: Starts at Prima's temple, and then off we go to Pharma's lab of mystical wonder
WHEN: After this
WHAT: Pharma notices that Rung knows what's up, and decides he needs to keep a man down
WARNINGS: Gorey head wounds, skeevy doctors, things like that

The Acolytes were helpful to direct Ambulon to the altar chamber where they assured him Rung could be found. And sure enough he was there, but the sight was really quite ... sad.

Rung had managed to climb down by himself, but he hadn't gotten much further then that, and was quietly sitting on the floor, leaning against the altar bottom, tiny frame looking even smaller with the large hole blown in the side of his head. There was energon (and other cranial conductive fluid) everywhere, the sheen duller, getting tacky as it clotted. With one hand Rung held his mangled face, trying to keep any more loose, sparking wires from tumbling out, and in the other hand, he was holding... was that a model ship? It was so absurd it just... it was just really, really sad.

Rung's eyes were dim.

Ambulon felt his spark skip a pulse and tanks almost empty at the sight. He was a fairly seasoned doctor, however, so at least he was able to collect his wits and not expel all over the place. He hurried over to Rung's side, wasting no time to gawk in horror.

"Rung, it's me, Ambulon," he said, quickly, all the while assessing the wound. At least there was clotting. "I need you to stay online, okay? I know it's hard, but I need you to stay awake." Ambulon quickly checked his vitals - yeah, not very good.

On his way to Rung's, he gathered anything he could find. There'd been a discarded role of fabric in the street (probably from the drop or something before, didn't really matter). That would work, though there wasn't much of it. "We can't apply too much pressure," Ambulon mumbled, carefully picking Rung's hand from his wound. Gently pat the scraps of fabric in place; it was quite pathetic and not much use, but he had to make do with what he had.

Ambulon cursed. He really didn't want to move Rung, but there was no other choice. "Try to remain as still--as still as possible," he insisted, went to pick him up. He spotted the small model ship in Rung's hand, and hesitated for a split second; he placed Rung's arm over his waist, cradling the ship against his body, before very carefully slipping his arms beneath the smaller 'bot. One hand cradling his neck, trying to keep it firm in place. "I'm going to go as fast as I can, but I'm not going to risk causing more injury. So... Bear with me. I know you can."

Cycling a hitch of air, Ambulon carried Rung out his room and out the temple, making his way as fast as he could to Pharma's on two legs. He'd thought about carrying the smaller 'bot on some makeshift stretcher, but that would only slow him down, and possibly make things a lot harder for them both.

(ooc: this is certainly a sight to behold)

Ambulon raced like a bat out of Hell. A cautious bat out of Hell. All the while internally cursing with frustration. They had earned a few onlookers, most of which were distracted by the fact half of Rung's head was missing. So, uh, perhaps that was better than the mocking "a Transformer that doesn't transform?" look.

"The day you must be having," Ambulon snorted, "I can't even begin to imagine."

They were about half-way there, according to the coordinates. Though he couldn't transform, at least Ambulon made up with pretty good speed.

[ooc: HUFF HUFF idk if you want to time skip or wait for someone to join in or what-have-you; i'm good with whatever! i figure ambulon's pretty agile/fast. he's a LEG after all.]

(GOTTA GO FAST!)

Oh, damn damn damn. Well, at least they were nearly there. Ambulon wondered if he should have just called someone to drive Rung - probably would get them there faster, but eh, that was the past, and now they were at Pharma's place. He wasted no time in getting the unconscious mech inside, quickly shouting like an ambulance siren, "I have him! I have Rung! Is everything ready!?"

Pharma was ready when Ambulon finally arrived. He had all of the equipment prepared, tools laid out in an orderly fashion, and a slab properly sterilized for emergency surgery.

Best of all- he had hands. ...With claws on the fingertips but. It was better than nothing and Knockout had seen fit to install some very nice tools in the indexes.

He met Ambulon at the entrance to the temple where he helped speed the process of getting the patient to his lab/clinic.

"Lay him down on the slab," he ordered, pointing at the prepped one in the middle of the room.

Ambulon quickly carried Rung over to the prepped table, carefully lying him out on it. He ignored the mess on his chassis, turned to Pharma and said, "Though there's been some clotting, he's still hemorrhaging. I'm concerned about coolant and swelling pressure in his cranial chamber. From what I can tell, obviously it was from a close range shot to the head to induce this much trauma and damage. However, it appears his CPU remains intact, though has suffered some injury." At least that was a good sign. Mostly it was the bleeding that concerned him.

Ambulon wished they could do a CT or MRI but he highly, highly doubted this place had any of those machines at the ready. They had Pharma, though, and the medic was a miracle worker - though, man, the new set of hands were a little creepy. Ambulon went on ahead to disable any functioning pain receptors, awaiting further instruction.

Though it was not to say that Rung's cryptic warning about Delphi and Pharma had completely left his mind. For now, there were more important things to worry about. "You're going to be okay," he said to Rung offhandedly, half-glancing at Pharma.
