Hangin' out [open]
Who: Wing and anyone who wants to drop by (but especially aimed at those he promised to call and meet up with later)
Where: The Hub's bar and likely various other places around the city, feel free to say where you want to meet him.
When: All week.
What: Meeting up with anyone who wants to come have a drink with the knight.
Warnings: Drinking and anything others might bring.
Over the next week, Wing would be spending a lot of time in the bar, or meeting people in various places. Some he promised to contact later the day he arrived, he would be calling each of them over the next few days, looking forward to meeting up with them and getting to know them.
Whether meeting in the bar, or coming across someone in the city, Wing was always one to greet the other with a grin. Hello, Haven, come meet this derpy hippie knight.

His smile grew. "You're very welcome." It still felt a little odd to hear Drift thank him, but he wasn't going to complain

"Maybe we should get up off the floor, huh?"

"Good plan. A little practice couldn't hurt, don't want to start getting rusty, do we?"

He was either being overly confident, or he was completely joking. Maybe a little of both.

ANYWAY, it doesn't take Drift too long to get there. There doesn't seem to be anyone else using the place, which meant they could toss each other around and not worry about smashing into people. Always awesome.

Wing drops down, unfolding into root mode and landing easily by Drift. Just like all the other sparring sessions he'll remove his knives/swords and pull the great sword from his back to set aside for the duration of the fight. And without a word he took a ready stance and waited for Drift to make the first move.

Wow...it's been forever since I've done a fight scene, let's see if I still can. 9,9;;
SAME HERE we got this bro /o/
He pressed in again, quickly stepping in and aiming a punch at Wing's dumb smirky face. He fully expected it to be blocked, it was too obvious a move not to be. If Wing did block it, Drift intended to use the distraction to try driving a knee into the other mech's abdomen.
WE SO DO!
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Drift didn't let up this time, pushing the attack as though nothing had thrown him off. It was obvious from his movements that, although vastly improved, he was still getting frustrated.

Once Drift came to a stop Wing stepped closer to stand by him. "You've gotten better. You're balance is good, but you are still too emotional and easily frustrated. And you still project your moves."

Drift just stared at Wing from the ground. His dumb pride just took a pummeling, okay.
"You have got to be kidding me."

Because before was more about giving Drift the proverbial, and sometimes literal, slap upside the head to get him thinking. Yes the sparring matches were slowly teaching Drift the fluid style of fighting, but they hadn't been proper lessons. Now, though, he could start from the beginning and teach Drift right, if Drift was willing to learn.

Drift sat up, but remained seated on the ground. "I never came across too many people who were really great at hand to hand combat after I left Crystal City. The Autobots were just as attached to their guns as the Decepticons, so my options for sparring partners were generally pretty limited."
And I'm off to bed. Have a great weekend!
YOU TOO BUDDY
"I chose this frame with balance in mind, actually. It's more maneuverable than the last couple I had, they were a little on the clunky side. Still not really feeling tense, though."

"Yeah, okay!" Drift moved to bat Wing's hand away before trying again, taking his stance, offlining his optics. He repeated their little venting exercise from earlier, letting himself relax, pushing the tension out with each exvent.
Halfway there!! Stopped for food and gas
He waited patiently as Drift worked himself through the exercise. "With practice you'll be able to do this instantly, but until it becomes second nature you're to take the time to go through this exercise each time."
and shenanigans apparently
Definitely shenanigans. XD
