Wing pulled his hand back, leaving Drift just waving at him. He would have just told Drift where he was tense, but Drift had said he wasn't tense, so telling him was no guarantee he'd suddenly feel the tension. Touching the taught cable, on the other hand, made it impossible to ignore.
