Thrill Ride
Who: Skids and YOU - Open
What: A Zombie March. Skids has to get from point A to point B without seeing anyone. Since he's under the influence of Black Energon, if he DOES see someone--he will chase and try to drink your energon/blood. Otherwise, he's just normal Skids driving across the Haven.
When: Now!
Where: Between Nexus's temple and Perceptor's Lab
Notes/Warnings:
Actionspam is welcome, and most tags will be short and sweet~ You can opt in to actually having your blood/energon sampled if you would like, or we can just have a merry chase. Skids is super-aware of what's going on (since he thought he just got OVER being a zombie) so he will probably be apologizing profusely as we go.
Skids was utterly over this.
He was over having mandibles, he was over being hungry, and he was over the fact that it seemed to happen to him enough to be considered 'frequently.' Just when his life seemed to be looking up, it changed again. One moment he was best friends with a god and getting an extra alt-mode to drive down a concrete roller-coaster, the next moment he was back to locking himself in his room.
Clearly, if this was some ancient, unborn Cybertron, then he was the patron saint of the undead.
As all saints inevitably had to perform some hurculean task in order to acheive their sainthood, he was now heading towards Perceptor's lab and traversing the several dozen miles of potentially dangerous terrain. It wasn't that it was particularly dangerous to him, besides the occassional loose rock nicking him in the undersides. It was more that it was dangerous to anyone he happened to see, who might be wandering about innocently, unaware that there was a Skids on the loose.
Again.
Only time would tell, however. With luck, he'd make it to Perceptor's in one piece, and the scientist would have a cure.
Otherwise, it was a long few miles BACK to locking himself in his room again.

If there was anything to be thankful for, it was that he hadn't seemed to become infected by anything himself, so far as he was aware. No strange energon for him!
Not that it made him any less worried about anyone else, and so figuring that he'd do what he could, Hot Rod was off driving about the Haven to see if maybe he could find any of these strange energon veins himself.]

This was bad.
It was bad, and he should stay away from it...
Which is precisely why his wheels end up turning towards the approaching vehicle.]
...frag.
[Hunger seemed to be a magnet. Congrats, Hot Rod...Skids is going to fast wind up in your rear-view mirror.]
no subject
Huh?
[Wait, this guy looks familiar.]
-Skids, that you?
[Obviously it's going to be a great idea to slow down so he can come alongside of the other.]
no subject
His processor is aware, but his wheels have their own idea, and his sensors lock on all the tight curves that form Hot Rod's sporty alt-mode. Underneath that hood, there was energon.]
Yes. Yes it is me, and I'm--
[Oh hell, Rod is slowing down.]
No! No, go faster. In fact, stay away.
Far away.
If you can.
[His engine revs, and he's speeding towards the orange and yellow flames.]

[That's a weird thing to say. He can tell that Skids has picked up speed right off the back, which....is an odd thing to do when you're telling someone to distance themselves.
But then weird things have been happening all over the Haven lately. Hot Rod starts to speed up again.]
What's going on, Skids?
AFTER ALL THE SHENANIGANS...
Just in case.
Primus, he really hated these moments.
For the time being, he waited in the hall, ready to duck back inside his lab at a moment's notice. The regular energon sat at his feet, while the white sample remained in a containment unit. The plan being, when he saw the afflicted bot approach, to pop the lid open, and duck back into the lab.
Behind the security door.
But for now, he could only wait.
And hope this worked.
A CALM AFTER THE STORM
Almost.
He was plodding the last few turns towards Perceptor's lab, creeping around corners and checking every hallways to make sure there was no one close by. Already, an unfortunate acolyte had met with...
...with an unfortunate end. He was going to have to apologize for that, later.
For now, there it was. The last corner. Perceptor was right around the bend. He peered around it.
HOPEFULLY
No sign, he assumed, of the bot in question yet.
He shifted his weight, head bowed. His foot tapped a little at the ground, in thought.
NOPE
How could it be that he'd made it this far only to be so sorely tempted at the end?
There...there had to be another way. The vents, perhaps.
He disappears back around the corner, slipping into the shadows and feeling along the edges of the floor until he finds what he's looking for. If he and Dead End hadn't mapped out so many shafts around the Haven, this wouldn't have been possible, but...
Now it is. He approaches Perceptor from above--
--and kicks out the grate not far away to drop down on the scientist.

He debates going back into the lab. Behind the heavy security door and hunkering down until someone calls him. It would be best, probably. He even turns to go, his hand settling on the control panel.
And then something lands on his shoulders.
He's huge, he's a literal tank. But the surprise and the sudden weight catches him utterly off-guard. He's knocked to the floor with a heavy clang of impact, and a yelp.
THIS IS THE THIRD TIME
It wasn't often Prowl ventured this far out, but his initiate status made the draw of the snowy peaks stronger. Physically alluring. It wasn't ideal, but it was manageable if he organized his schedule a little
No matter. He'd just make use of the labyrinthine walls a little more often. He'd covered his tracks and kept low enough that it should make little difference.
He thought nothing of being spotted by Skids as he approached the other Autobot, intending to bypass him all together and keep going.]
WHICH MEANS IT IS THE CHARM
...
On the other servo, if there was one mech that Skids DID want to come across today, it was Prowl. He knew the police robot had a similar alt-mode and a similarly rated engine, and he remembered well how their first encounter had gone. This time...this time he could catch him.
This time, he could finish the job.
He waits until Prowl is close--and swerves, suddenly, taking the momentum of the turn to roll into robot mode and LEAP, aiming straight for Prowl.]
