something is wrong [closed]
who; 686 Ebullient Prism & Kagerou
what; BAD TOUCHING
when; after this thread, post this log
where; Liege Maximo's temple
warnings; Potentially mild gore. Consent issues.
Prism hovered at the front steps of Liege Maximo's 'temple.' He had just finished up with Soundwave, his Gatherer still fresh from disposing of the cybertronian's mess. Today was shaping to to be quite a good haul for information, all things considered. It was almost worth the inconvenience of falling through yet another time-space anomaly.
To make matters better, this other robot seemed to be of another make or model from Soundwave. That meant fresh information, new diagnostics, a fresh set of AI to probe. Yes, Prism was definitely excited.

It was easiest to fly. He left the other area without ceremony, without a word. He was his own being. He didn't have to tell them where he was going -- then again, it honestly didn't occur to him to do so.
Finding the place... that was difficult. But eventually, he touched down near the temple stairs, transforming from his bird-form as he did so, and looking the AI over.
"Are you... the one called Prism?"
no subject
"I am! And you are the one I spoke with on the network, correct?"
Link, network, whatever. At this stage in Prism's life they were all interchangeable.
"Would you care to follow me into the temple?"
no subject
"I am. I am Kagerou."
Another nod, before he moves to climb the stairs. Temples... Gods... he only has a basic understanding of such things. If only because of programming. He has never actually seen one until he'd woken here.
"What questions did you have?"
no subject
Prism floats ahead of Kagerou, humming cheerfully to himself as he leads them deeper into Liege Maximo's temple.
"Oh, very simple questions. Simple queries regarding your home culture and society. Rather boring stuff, really. I'll be able to tell you in greater detail once we have arrived at my quarters."
The room he leads them too aren't really his quarters, not by a long shot, but they are a large laboratory clearly sized for cybertronian subject matter. It's a different room from the one he dealt with Soundwave in, clear of any potential remains.
"Here we are! Please, make yourself comfortable."
no subject
"I'm not sure if I'll be much help," he admits. "But I will do what I can..."
He knows he's sheltered. Only days in this place have proven that much. When they enter the lab, he feels his wings flatten against his back. This wasn't the place he'd escaped from. Not by a long shot.
"Ah... all right."
He moves to stand against a wall, arms folded absently. "Is here all right?"
no subject
It's then that the Gatherer chooses to make an appearance, floating through the door, tentacles whipping out to coil around Kagerou's limbs with superhuman speed.
"I'm sure you'll be very helpful."
no subject
Except. Then he's restrained. He's fast, agile -- but even he hadn't noticed what was happening until he was fully tied up. Of course he struggles. He tries to twist, to get one hand free enough to grasp his blade -- or tear the things off him.
"What -- What are you doing?"
Even his wings are restrained. Flight won't be possible. Not like this.
no subject
"Preparing you for examination. Voluntary participation is not required, but cooperation will make the process easier for all involved."
The Gatherer hauls Kagerou up, pulling him horizontal before laying him out on the broad surface of the examination table in the center of the room. Prism hovers closely, taking a moment to scan Kagerou's body from helm to footplate in as much detail as he can.
"This shouldn't take long."
no subject
Not this. Even as he's hauled, laid out, he's struggling, thrashing. He has no intention of cooperating. He can't. This isn't right. He tries moving his wings, flexing them. Maybe if he can get them up underneath him, he can twist out of the ... the whatever this is.
"I don't want this!"
It's not happening. It can't be happening. If he could just get to a weapon --
no subject
Kagerou is stretched out across the exam table, tentacles holding him firmly in place as Prism hovers closer, the blue light of his hacking beam flashing to life.
"Do try and hold still."
no subject
He bares his teeth at him, for want of anything more productive to do. Or helpful. He's... actually terrified, suddenly, of what this is going to entail. Did he truly come all this way, truly make that promise, for absolutely nothing?
"No!"
That said, he continues to struggle, continues to try and fight.
