Walking in a ... Metal wasteland ...
Who: Garrus and Shepard
What: Taking a walk, catching up, maybe a little bit of witty banter.
When: Feb 10th
Where: Starting in Prima's Quadrant, and from there who know?
[Believe it or not, Garrus was actually liking it on Cybertron. In a lot of ways it looks like home, just bigger. So, if he looks around with a sort of half-smile on his face for just a moment, forgive him.
[Still, it doesn't exactly help any homesickness he might be feeling. Just close enough to look like home, but without any of the ... home. Coming to think of it, it's ... it's been a long time since he's been back to Palaven. Until recently that was probably for the better, but he did owe his dad a visit.
[But, for now, he's going to shove that to the back of his mind and focus on the now.]
So ... you've been here for six months and you haven't found the bar? I'm disappointed Shepard.

Well, I haven't found a doomed galaxy either, so. I'm one-for-one.
Besides, had I found it, I'd have probably moved in.
no subject
True, but I think you've earned a little bit of a break.
[She did literally come back from the dead in order to combat another threat to life as they know it.]
And I couldn't blame you. I have a feeling this situation probably makes a lot of people want a stiff drink.
no subject
[ She smiles lopsidedly. ]
It's probably not exactly what I need right now, a stiff drink.
[ It's then with her previous comment that a detail occurs to her. ]
I don't think you ever told me where you showed up from. Time wise. Since---time isn't an actual thing to whatever it was that brought us here. So says most everyone.
[ She shrugs. ]
Or I was too tired to remember. That's completely possible too.
no subject
[... that might have sounded a bit suggestive, but he assures you, it's strictly on level.]
I'm assuming someone knows that for sure somehow, and people aren't just making that up to make us feel better.
[It's possible that this is just Garrus just thinking of the worst as he is wont to do, but given all the horrible things on the horizon at home ... it seems justified. Still, he shakes it off, puts that to the side for now, and answers the question.]
The last thing on my end was taking out the Shadow Broker with Liara and leaving her to take over things from there. Hopefully you're from around then, otherwise that's probably going to sound a little weird.

Ill start with maybe a good nights sleep then go from there. Wouldn't wanna ask too much of something I don't know a damn thing about.
Hm. Liara as the Shadow Broker.
Yeah, that does sound weird.
[ No ifs, ands, or butts. ]
So did we hit the Relay? Or what?
no subject
I'm not exactly sure I follow, but sleep sounds like a good start.
It definitely is. She's changed a lot since ... well, since you died, but ... it's hard to imagine. She's still Liara, but ... she's definitely not the same Liara we met hunting for Saren.
And yes, and despite it being arguably the most suicidal thin we've ever done, thanks to some thrilling heroics we all made it out alive.
no subject
Thank god.
If there's one thing that's been keeping me up these past few months, that'd be it.
[ Okay, misty eyes couldn't be avoided, but she's still smiling! That's what matters. In fact, she tries to laugh about it too. ]
Thrilling heroics? Yeah, that sounds like us.
[ She takes a moment though---she wants to ask about everyone, but she can't find who she wants to ask about first. Hearing that her crew's alright though, that makes her breathe so much easier. ]
Hows Grunt? Or Thane---Samara. She's alright too? I mean, of course she is, she's tough, but...you know.
[ The whole Morinth-and-Justicar thing. ]
no subject
It's either calling it that or brazen stupidity, and, well, I just like the ring of the first.
[He does raise an eyebrow at the follow-up questions.]
Like I said, everyone came out in one piece, but if you're talking about Morinth, you two handled that a while ago. As for Grunt, he's still traveling with us for a little while but he's an official member of Clan Urdnot.
[In probably the only away mission Garrus was actually thinking, "I'm probably going to die here ..."]
None of this is ringing any bells?
no subject
No. Not a thing.
It's all news to me.
no subject
[He's not exactly sure whether that's comforting or disconcerting.]
So. What was the last thing on your end?
