It was probably a good thing that neither Starscream could not see how exactly he landed on Skyfire. Because that would have been even more awkward.

And Starscream probably would have commented and made it worse.

Instead he made several grumbling noises before moving to push himself back to his feet ... Well he almost got to that point, but after his vision stabilized and he found that he was floating off the ground on what appeared to be very hard and uncomfortable air ...
