[CLOSED] Test Flight!

WHO: Barricade and Sari
WHERE: The air over Solus' territory maybe?
WHEN: Not long after THIS
WHAT: Sari wants a ride in Barricade's cool new ship + inadvertent secret reveals?
WARNINGS: None atm

Sari has never been the most patient person. And given how excited she is for this test flight she's been promised...well. Once Sari arrived at the meeting spot she'd been given, she wasn't going to wait for very long. She almost immediately pulled out her communicator, scanning the skies for the ship as she attempted to hail him.

"Hey Barricade? I'm here! Where are you already?"

As she waited for a reply, Sari climbed the nearest, largest rock she could manage, sprawling over the top with an exaggerated sigh.

Where is he, she asks. He snickers before opening up communications.

"Already here."

From behind one rock there's a loud whumph followed by a deep whine. Dust and small rocks kick up as a ship - bulky and spikey and huge (compared to humans anyway) - rises up, smoothing hovering its way over the rock and weaving its way over to where Sari has flopped. The deep whining of the repulsors continues until the ship settles again, and the hatch on top opens up, Barricade climbing out.

He does have a thing for dramatic entrances, when he can manage it.

"Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."

Barricade snickers, trying to cover it with one hand.

"It's a little funny."

What can he say? He likes startling everyone, it's fun. Besides, he knows the ship is going to mollify it a bit anyway. It's big, and has obvious battle scars on it - bullet holes, partially-melted tracks in the metal, scorch marks - and just about matches Barricade in spikeyness. He grins, and his chuckle is a little more sincere.

"Here I thought the reaction would be 'how d'you fly a bunch of knives.'"
