Ambulon smirked and followed alongside him. Ah, good, no questions then. He thought a moment about Drift's question, debating the proper answer. "It was... a lot of work," he said finally, "but I enjoyed it." He shrugged. "Sometimes Pharma was ridiculously stubborn and some of the staff insufferable at times, but you take the good with the bad. So, I can't complain."
Ambulon frowned and glanced back at Drift. "That bad, huh? I'm just imagining the place a pile of fiery cinders. I feel like apologizing, though; what you saw... Well, the clinic needed improvements and it occasionally had its moments of downtime, but I can assure you, it was a nice place before what you saw."
He winced, and again, was hesitant to speak. But, he had to know.
