That was obviously news to him. "Wait, what? Ultra Magnus isn't here anymore?" Such would explain why Hot Rod hadn't heard from him since he'd come back, but it was still a little upsetting. Even though it was a different Ultra Magnus than the one he knew, Hot Rod had been able to connect fairly easily with him. He'd been someone to trust.

     The other Autobot slumped a bit in his seat, his drink all but forgotten in his hand, even as he stared down at it. "...I think that happened to me too. I...remember attacking some of the others. And Magnus- we tried to keep me locked up so I couldn't do it again, but...I broke free."
