I want to play
WHO: Four and whoever wants to stop by
WHERE: Alpha Trion's lake
WHEN: Today
WHAT: Four plays by the lake
WARNINGS: None
The lake had become one of Four's favourite places. She liked feeling the water on her feet, and running around and feeling the sand between her toes. Shoes were fun, but she found she didn't need them all that often. Clothes in general were fun to figure out, and Four was proudly wearing a blue, one-piece bathing suit as she splashed around in the shallow part of the lake. She couldn't really swim yet, and she didn't want to risk it, but the feeling of water was heavenly.
It was just too bad that it wasn't going to last. The very thought tugged at her heart, but she ignored it. She would enjoy this for as long as she could. It was a gift to feel alive, even if it was only a temporary one. Laughing to herself (she loved the sound of her own laughter), she cupped a handful of water and threw it into the air. The sight of it coming back down on her was magical.
