What's December Without Christmas Eve? [Tree Decorating: OPEN]

WHAT: Tree Decorating!
WARNINGS: Infinite cute and maybe tree eating

Well, Kay and Elita had done it. It took awhile, and surprisingly, all in one night, but they'd been able to grab branches from the large crystal trees that the pink robot had grown, and placed them all around Haven. Where, specifically? Outside the temples! Really, surprised no one noticed it.  But to those who walk out of the them, they'll now notice a tree on either their right or left, empty, glittering, and with a note.



What could this mean? What's this? There's trees everywhere! What's this? And depending on what your alignment is/where you live, you'll get a different tree. 

(ooc: I'll be putting comments up for each quadrant's tree. Comment under whichever one you'd like to react to/decorate/chat with people under. It's a huge mingle thread! Also, don't forget to put your tag in the log!

It was good to see some of the people decorating the tree the way they SHOULD be. Honestly, these robots just don't know what they're doing. Kay hasn't left the Megatronus Quadrant yet, and sees Marvelous decorating, hopping over as he does so.

"Wow, you really went all out!"

[showboater]

Marvelous raises an eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest as he looks over at her. "It's like three ornaments," he points out, turning his head slightly to catch Navi stringing one up over a branch on his left. "Oi, put the other one up higher, will you? Just because we got stuck with the reject tree doesn't mean it can't look nice."

He frowns. "You think we're gonna get Santa Claus dropping us some sweet loot?"

Like a Ranger Key. He could do with one. Or five.

"You can blame Mr. Megatronus for the tree. He was a jerkface to me, so he gets the worst tree."

And three ornaments is three more than half the citizens have. So congrats, Marvelous, you have the biggest stash.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that."

She's got plans.

[showboater]

"Sounds like blatant favoritism," Marvelous says, "good." That was suitably pirate for his tastes.

He always had the biggest stash, Kay. It was a rule.

"What, you're gonna do your best Christmas elf impression?"

That sounded... kind of cute, actually.

"Well, Mr. Megatronus is a big dumb. And he was mean to me. So why should I give him a nice tree? At least he's getting one."

In her mind, this makes perfect sense.

"Well, I'm gonna have help! But I guess you COULD call me a little helper."

[showboater]

"Hey, hey, I said good job, didn't I," Marvelous says, and reaches out to ruffle her hair.

"Little is right," he teases.

When he ruffles her hair, her hands instantly bat at it playfully like a cat.

"Hey! I'm not THAT little!"

[showboater]

"Littler than me, aren't you?" he asks, continuing with his one-handed ruffling until he's satisfied her hair is well and truly messed up. When he pulls back, winding his fingers together behind his head, his mouth is quirked up in a smirk.

A job well done, Marvelous.

"Why you-" those hands in turn swat at his shoulder, getting a few jabs in (courtesy of your training!) before she tends to that hair.

"You've messed with PERFECTION now, mister!"

[showboater]

Good jabs! He was proud, if a little achy when he winced away at last. "No one can even tell the difference," he informs her. This is a bald-faced lie, and he knows it.

"No one can tell? Oh, that's cruel to say to a lady!"

She brushes her bangs back the way they were, but smiles.

"I think you owe me for that one."

[showboater]

"You're not a lady, you're Kay," he answers, perfectly serious.

Wait, what. "Owe you what?"

Another jab to his side.

"All girls are ladies, you big dumb! Just for that? You owe me a Swiss Roll."
