Megatronus, at least, had always thought of Vector as the youngest of them, so there was really nothing to regain in his sights. He was rather disappointed with his brother's impulsiveness and complete lack of foresight all the same, but they seemed to be common enough traits among anything capable of flight.

Whatever the source of that foolish programming, they were habits that Vector would have to break – by force, if necessary. That part was something he would be able to help him with later even if he could do little to speed his recovery now.
