Perhaps the longer way could be done in the future, when it wasn't such a dire sort of situation--because Rung saw this to be dire considering the other really didn't seem to be able to get enough to sustain himself much at all from his other source.

He smiled faintly at the 'Con before relaxing slowly, any tension that had been creeping in disappearing.
