"And if I was?" Rung countered again, tilting his head. "I wouldn't be object to helping you, Dead End. There's no reason any individual should have to go without substinance and if I can help along with the other helping you, that would make things a bit better for you would it not?"

And the quality of life for others was somethig that Rung really liked to try and preserve as much as he could. It was what he did instead of fighting. Plus, he could spare the energy.
