The boy forced a smile, waving a hand. "It's okay. I...well, I haven't been here two weeks, but if there was anyone I knew around, I guess I would've found out by now."

     It was probably the longest he'd ever been away from any of his friends, though, bound to be longer if what he'd heard about this place was true. Ventus sighed, turning about to face the lake again. He stretched his arms out over his head for a moment before just plopping down to sit where he'd been standing.
