[ the first place that Starscream finds himself after getting away is back to his place. make what small repairs he could...

then time to face the music, really. Starscream can just feel the anger radiating from the room next door. it makes him somewhat reluctant to make his way across the hall. the hesitation to knock on that door seeming to become such a bad habit by now. ]

[Cliffjumper had been considering stomping over to Starscream's room after he felt the scientist had had enough time to do whatever emergency repairs.

Technically he thought Starscream ought to go to a medic who could actually help him more and reach better than Starscream could---

The knock, however hesitant, has him crossing the room in no time flat and reaching out to snag Starscream's closest wrist the moment the door's open enough to allow it.]

What the slag, Starscream? What the flyin', rustin' frag were you thinking? No backup?!

[He's basically going to attempt to pull Starscream inside if the scientist doesn't come willingly.]

[ and maybe he will go to a medic! maybe! depends on what all happens with Starscream! but right now he knows that he has to deal with the husband Cliffjumper. he makes no move to fight against the hand on his wrist and complying with the red minibot. ]

I didn't think that it was a dangerous situation.

[ mostly because the only dangerous person here seems to be Ratchet. ]

You didn't what?!

[Snarling, Cliffjumper reached up to stab a finger against Starscream's chestplating.]

You didn't have a fraggin' clue who that place belonged to, and you just walked in there! At least get someone else to come with ya! What if it'd been Ratchet's place?

Or, like in this slaggin' case, your alternate's!? I don't care what you think of the one that's here, he is actually dangerous!

[Stepping back just so he could throw his arms up, Cliffjumper tried to rein in his growling engine and spiking EM field.]

And you didn't even go to one of the medics beyond what you could reach, did you?

Actually the purple Decepticon symbol kind of told me that it would be Ratchet that built it.

[ he winces at both the jabbing at the fact he kind of admitted that fact. now Cliffjumper is going to be furious because what had he been telling him this entire time about positive polarity Decepticons... ]

Come now... What were the chances? There are hardly any here that are actively seeking to hurt people.

[ not answering the medic question either. ]

[Enjoy Cliffjumper hissing at you, Starscream.]

Hardly any here? Positive polairity Decepticons are out to hurt people as much as your wannabe fraggin' Autobots are! So with a blasted purple Decepticon symbol on it, ya should've gotten back up!

[He's not... quite yelling, but it's close.]

Or at least not just wandered around in there until Starscream caught up with you!

[ visibly flinching. Cliffjumper you're yelling. or it feels like he's yelling even though Starscream knows he can be louder. ]

And what? Leave that electrum linger until he managed to successfully replicated it?

The what? [Confusion softening his tone and lowering the volume of his voice, Cliffjumper scrunched his nasal ridge, frowning up at Starscream.]

... The thing he was coated with when he fought Megatron? [Then his optics narrow again.] 'Sides, it doesn't matter, 'cause you didn't know it was there when you got in!

You could've called someone before and waited for 'em to come there!

[By somebody he means himself.]

Yes, that. Not to mention he has horded all of those supplies.

[ Cliffjumper he's going to do the right thing. even if, you know, he might end up hurt in the process. ]

And had I called someone, they would have been put in danger as well.

[ which he can't have that. ]

[He snorts, crossing his arms over his chestplates.]

Don't fraggin' pull that with me! So what, you're gonna say it's okay if I pull somethin' similar and don't call anyone? Should we start, when we get back, to not send out groups 'cause the other ones in the group would be in danger as well?

[Back to hissing, chin up. At least he's not yelling?]

It isn't the same. As much as I like you and appreciate your efforts and advice, you are reckless. Not every situation requires or necessitates the guns blazing approach.

[ folding his arms over his chest now. ]

Now stop twisting the situation. I made a call. Perhaps it wasn't the best one, but I honestly believed that there wasn't an immediate thread based on the fact there is no war or even true factions present.

[ now his wings drop a little and he ducks his helm. ]

What I am going to admit is that my curiosity got the better of me. And... I'm sorry that I worried you.

[Cliffjumper stared, opened his mouth and then huffed, looking sharply away.]

Well, you think more than I do about what you do, so don't go do stupid slag like that! [Because the thing with Cliffjumper's recklessness? Often he simply read the situation, compared it to what he had available immediately, and acted just as immediately.]

And I'm not twisting anything! 'cause just because there ain't no slaggin' war here doesn't mean they're gonna drop their fraggin' attitudes and methods!

[Rubbing his faceplate, Cliffjumper looked up at Starscream again from over his hand, shifting a little on his feet.]

Just... try not to underestimate positive polarity Decepticons and the way they might act, okay?

[ by now Starscream keeps staring at his feet. the ground. anything but Cliffjumper. wings are held a little lower than normal and he is fussing a bit with his fingers. this probably looks ridiculous to some. here Starscream is a rather giant mech bending under a minibot... ]

I wasn't trying to in the first place... It's just I thought that the place would be abandoned.

[cliffjumper]

[The longer he looked at Starscream looking like that, the... well, not worse, more like... annoyed and maybe fond he felt.

Where the frag did the slagger get off looking that contrite?]

Fraggin' why? Gah, there are still some 'Cons around here!

[Rubbing his faceplate again, Cliffjumper stared narrowly at Starscream, growled and then stomped over to the chair by the desk and used it to jump up on the desk itself.

Probably a good thing the desk was sturdy enough to carry his weight.]

Come over here, would ya? [Cliffjumper grumped, optics narrowed and for once wishing he was taller - if just to be able to get around this step.]

We can go in circles over that, Cliffjumper... You don't wish to trust them and you are justified in that. I, though, still want to give others a chance before casting judgment.

[ it just doesn't quite seem right to be suspicious and wary JUST BECAUSE of a faction brand... especially when nothing had been done here.

but that's neither here nor there and he really doesn't want to fight anymore.

with each sound Cliffjumper makes as the minibot moves around, Starscream flinches. twitches. and hearing the other call him over is not very comforting. the jet is expecting a smack or slap of some sort... but he probably deserves it so he meanders over there regardless. ]

[cliffjumper]

[When Starscream finally comes over, Cliffjumper reaches up and does slap... his hands down against Starscream's chestplating, staring narrowly up at Starscream's faceplate.]

Just fraggin' get backup next time, all right? [A pause, as he squirms in his seat, frown intensifying as his optics brighten and, briefly, he bites his lower lip.]

Please? [Quiet little mutter, probably the most awkward please ever as Cliffjumper stretches up as much as he can while tugging Starscream down and kisses him.]

[ it doesn't hurt, but he does flinch at the hands suddenly coming down on his frame. only after Cliffjumper speaks does Starscream finally look up and at the other mech.

he's getting a little bit of mixed signals here. the minibot is clearly upset but displaying all of the signs of embarrassment as well. thankfully, the jet doesn't question. he just nods... and god his ember aches as Cliffjumper actually says please.

and it's that sort of distraction that helps the other mech yank Starscream down. after a second of surprise passes, Starscream melts into it. he's being forgiven, looks like. Starscream puts his hands on those hips, lips moving against Cliffjumper's in return. ]

[Blurr wouldn't usually walk inside Cliffjumper's place without knocking first. But as he approached it he could heard the screaming, even if he couldn't hear properly what was being said, and he noticed that the door was open. Understandably worried, he got it and then stopped short in his tracks.]

...

[He should probably move. or say something. Or leave in a rush as if he's never been there. sadly, his processor is not cooperating at the moment.]

[cliffjumper]

[He'd been a little worried when nothing happened at first, but then Starscream reacted, and this was rather nice, especially with Starscream's hands on his hips.

Tilting his helm into the kiss, Cliffjumper couldn't really see over, or around, Starscream to catch Blurr in the doorway, but all he sees is the flicker of light-shadow of Blurr standing there.

It does, after a moment, make him realise the door must've been left blocked open when he dragged Starscream in.

Should probably do something about that.]

[ and unfortunately for Blurr, Starscream can't really see over his shoulders either. quite frankly? the silly jet is pretty much caught up in Cliffjumper at the moment to. the minibot actually initiated something without sputtering and flustering about it beforehand!

Starscream's having a blissful moment. he really does enjoy these little moments and it feels all the more comforting, considering the argument beforehand.

so take the dose of sweetness. this is what Blurr had wanted for them all along, right? ]

[Yes yes it was what Blurr wanted. ANow that his brain is catching up with his eyes he realizes that they look way to comfortable with each other. Blurr know they kissed before, Starscream told him so, but he also told him that it didn't go anywhere. That he was not sure about how they felt about it, how maybe it was just the crystals messing with their brains.

Well, this didn't look like nothing to him and he sees no crystals around.]

Ahem [He crosses his arms over his chest.] I am INTERRUPTING anything?

[cliffjumper]

Gah! [Blurr speaking up has Cliffjumper jerking, narrowly missing cracking his and Starscream's nasal ridges together. Pushing away and trying to peer around Starscream, Cliffjumper is... ahem, rather surprised.

Also blushing, optics too bright.]

Blurr!

[Well, wasn't that awkward.]

[ the moment Cliffjumper shifts with a start, Starscream has to move to avoid bumping heads. The way that the other is pushing at him, flustered, should have been telling enough but the flier is confused. He looks to the mini questioningly before the word 'Blurr' falls from his lips. At that moment he freezes, wings taught as he slowly turns to look at the door.

Oh. Oh dear. ]

A-ah ha... Hello, Blurr.

[ yeah. He's flustered and just as bright a the red mech to his side. ]

[He pauses, vents taking in some air.] ...Are you two affected by the crystals again?

Huh? [Optics flickering slowly, Cliffjumper could maybe have deciphered what Blurr had said if the mech hadn't said the next thing as well.]

Uh--- that... No! [Huffing, Cliffjumper shifted in his seat on top of the desk and shook his helm, realising there was no way to deny anything and vaguely wiggled a hand.]

Frag. We're just... it ain't--- It just... happened.

[Because that's how it works, right? It just happens.]

[ Starscream is doing some uncomfortable shifting. He doesn't look at Blurr at first. The floor is super interesting and in need of further study. Truth is, he can't find his voice. Cliffjumper is fumbling around for words - enough for both of them really.

When he wraps up his lame explanation, the flier finally looks up. Clears his vocalizer and ducks his head. His wary smile is apologetic. ]

We, ah... Discussed it. The, erm. Crystal ordeal.

[ yeah looking away now because wow embarrassing. ]
