She opens her mouth to dispute, but then quickly closes it. No, there wasn't any point. Standing firm, finally, the frost solidifies under her feet into a sheet sheet of ice. Okay she was ready. She wouldn't be scared or startled. Right?

Well, kind of.

She was at first, but the sheer wonder of it---he was telling the truth. He wasn't lying. He did have powers, just like her---
