Starscream was inside, no doubt about it. He wasn't particularly nosy about the comings and goings of his roommate. The flier's mood was actually soaring pretty high still from a few days ago, a stark contrast to the nervous energy that consumed him the week prior. Sorting things out with the source of his confusion seemed to have worked wonders for Starscream.

Hearing the door open meant only one thing. Thundercracker was back. Starscream was busy studying the energon crystals. Their power might have been gone, but he still wanted to see if the properties remained. Thus he didn't look up immediately. "Welcome home."

He wasn't about to ignore the other either, so Starscream pushed back from his little project, a smile on his face plates. The other mech was nothing like the TC from Starscream's dimension and part of him was glad for it.

"Been out flying?" he asked, not noticing the difference in how Thundercracker was walking and carrying his wings. Not yet, anyway.
