Deckard wouldn't be able to relate, honestly - he was given an alternate form specifically so he could cover large distances on his own. It's far less practical - at least by modern human standards ("modern" for his version of Earth) - to build vehicles that can transport giant robots than to just build the robots to be able to transport themselves.
He won't admit it, but Deckard does kind of like the speed and the crunch of rock and earth beneath his tires. And the weight of a body in his driver's seat.
