Piercing into the sky and higher
WHO: White Knight, OPEN
WHAT: Arrival, exploration. White's getting a lay of the land and you might see him in the area.
WHERE: Prima's sector, starting at the temple and moving outward toward Trion's sector.
WHEN: Afternoon/evening of Feb 9
WARNINGS: tl;dr
---
The first thing White Knight did was check the network.
He didn't post on it. Not yet. After all, if he could monitor its activity, it was more than likely someone else would be, too. No need to give away his position and status so quickly when his hypothetical kidnapper might be watching. For now, he only browsed, hoping to get a feel for the other refugees.
It seemed Six and Rex made it here, too. Some time ago. White's brow tightened as he listened to the archived conversation. Not even five minutes in, and Rex was getting friendly with the locals. Who knows what kind of damage the kid's already caused?
...Not as much as those monster centipedes, from the looks of it. White clicked through the network further. Seems they came in multiple sizes; One for every size... robot that came through these parts. He analyzed what little footage there was on the network, taking note of any attack patterns or potential weak spots. A tactical retreat would probably be his best bet should he encounter one any time soon; He had nothing at stake here save for the two team mates he needed to track down and what little human population there was among the refugees.
No, right now it was best to stay on the defensive until he could get settled with a base of operations. The shelter provided for him within Prima's temple wouldn't do. Though the location was spacious and easily defensible, it left him at the mercy of those in charge, and he couldn't guarantee their continued kindness... or even their competency.
Resources were the top priority. He'd need to stake a claim somewhere humans could sustain themselves, if such a place existed on a planet made for robots. When he found the others, once food, water and supplies were secure, they'd build up adequate, defendable living quarters. From there, they could pool information and decide on a course of action until a way home could be found.
White Knight clipped the communicator to his belt as he stepped out of the temple and gazed down the mountain to the rest of the Haven below. A planet for giant, mechanical beings -- that was the most unsettling thing of all. White had been all over the planet back home, braving societies and wilderness of every kind to get his jobs done before being seated at the head of Providence. Humans were predictable. Were he looking at a human city, he could make a rough guess of the layout of the city; Food stores, places of worship, centers of commerce...
Meanwhile, a society of alien robots was just that -- alien. Who knew how closely their society paralled humanity. If at all. If he was going to be stuck here for God knows how long, he was going to have to do some major recon work -- he and Six, and Rex. Maybe the kid's outgoing nature would be useful after all, provided he could keep his giant hands -- and his nanites -- to himself.
As Knight began to make his way down the mountain that made up Prima's sector, he scanned the landscape. There was a more earthen-looking area in the distance, illuminated by the light from the temple. It looked more or less like the more organic of locations here. Seemed as good of a place as any to start. He moved at a steady pace, inspecting and scrutinizing everything in his path. In a place more foreign than he'd ever experienced before, he couldn't afford to miss any details.

/slips in here for hopefully interesting times
He's keen to any anomolies, including the unknown energy signature that pings on his HUD while passing over Prima's quadrant. It's not hard to make visual contact, the predominately white form standing out bright against the dark neutrals of Cybertron's geography. Definitely not a centipede then, unless they come small and white. Something else than that he's never seen before. The size of a human, but with, or carrying, an obvious power source...
He's quite aware that his own white form sticks out quite well against the twilight sky, and he even tips a wing to catch Prima's light intentionally, making a slow half circle in front of the unknown subject. Light winks off his plating, almost in greeting. Wing's made his presence known, and waits for a reaction before making landfall. He won't give up the superiority of the air until he knows if this is friend or foe. If he's fired upon, well, that'll answer his question, and he's prepared with evasive maneuvers should that prove true.
((ooc note to self: Going to say this is right before Wing leaves to fight in the Badlands with Megatronus & company. I think the timing works out.))
:D!
As he watched, waiting for the pilot to make his move, White quickly ran through options in his mind. If the plane landed and the pilot approached, he could be politial; If the pilot decided to fire, he was armed -- but would a retreat be more practical?

The high, smooth keen of his nacelles shifts down as he approaches an outcropping, something to give the advantage of higher ground with accessible cover between him and the other. That was always the way of a meleeist in the time of firearms: choose your ground wisely and consider your path to close the distance.
It's obvious the jet is making to land, even if his choice of rocky broken terrain is strange. At the last moment the jet's nose pulls up, and then it...breaks apart, pieces shifting in a whirl of white, gray and red metal to the chorus of sound that is so signature to the species. He resolves his root-mode swiftly, the jump jets on his back letting him touch gracefully down the ground. His wings flick one last time before tucking neatly against his back.
Wing is ready to evade if necessary, and he is incredibly fast for his kind, but for now his hands go out in front of him, open, helm canted to one side as his golden optics consider the stranger.
"Forgive me for approaching uninvited. I hope you do not mind...?"

White Knight had left the safety of the temple and braved the unknown without really knowing what to expect. Planes piloted by the locals he could accept easily. Planes being the locals was a tad harder to swallow.
Still, his shock was only evident in the minute widening of his eyes. He straightened up, chancing another step forward. Don't suppose I can stop you, he thought, but good sense and years of political know-how kept him silent. He took note of the unoffensive stance the stranger took.
Unoffensive to him, anyway. Knight had to consider the possibility that some gestures didn't translate one hundred percent.
"If you're a local, I imagine you'd want a good look at any newcomers to your planet," White mused. "I'm not surprised." Not to say that he wasn't suspicious. No sense letting his guard down just yet.

"I mean you no harm, friend." The jet is obviously armed, judging by the Great Sword on his back, but his demeanor seems to read as non-hostile. Hands twice the size of the human's head remain in the air for a moment longer before he lowers them slowly. He moves from the outcropping, hydraulics hissing as he drops down, graceful for a being of his size. "Call me Wing." He flashes a smile in greeting, hoping to ease any tension.
"A local? Yes, in a manner of speaking. This is my homeworld, though not the version to which I was born." The look on his face adds the obvious footnote of 'It's complicated'. "I like to welcome newcomers when I can yes, though, these are dangers times for anyone to be traveling alone."
